“Lovely little pub, with a great beer garden. Reasonably priced drinks, and lovely bar staff. Ladies was clean with a sign up to say to ask at the bar of you needed sanitary products,or if anyone was making you feel unsafe etc. I look forward to coming back.”

“So many slate a Spoons pub but it it serves a purpose, simple as that! This is situated Below Bar on the High Street. There is plenty of metered street parking & lots of car parks nearby if you’re driving. This is a large pub & we arrived just after 6pm on a Friday evening. We couldn’t get a table at first but after a while we managed to grab one. It was very busy, the staff were great & there was a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you ever fancy a pint or even want to stay for the evening, you just can’t beat the prices either!!”

“Having signed up to a Flotilla holiday and not realising I needed to have my ICC Assesment to charter in Greece, BOSS Sailing pulled out all the stops to accomdodate me at very short notice. Massive thanks to Peter & Nikki who organised the course and the instructor Nick whose calm instruction got me through on a very very blustery day and was brilliant from start to finish. “Hunters Inn which is located near Swanmore, basically a 5-10 minute walk, was closed for many years and there were rumours about it reopening but because of the pandemic it seems if was delayed Went there recently, staff really gave the impression that they were engaging with the customers I had the vegetable soup to start with , extremely tasty, followed by Hunters Chicken with salad and house chips, once again perfectly presented, a great choice, Dessert was a warm chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream certainly would give it 5 stars”

“What an amazing change. Went there last week with my wife and daughters for a couple of drinks ended up staying for over 3 hours. Great place with great music. Used to be a dive. Pleasantly surprised with the new management, drinks on offer and the place overall. Highly recommended.”

“Sunday 12/03/2023. The two gents in the store were very kind to make a drink and food even after they'd just finished cleaning up, bearing in mind I had entered the store shortly after Sunday trading hours. They didn't have to do that for me, and yet still did without a hint of complaint - fantastic attitude. In a rush to leave them to cash up ect ect, I forgot I purchased a can of water - I returned 10 mins later to closed shutters but a bag with my drink inside, packaged so it wouldn't blow away in the wind either - great care for the environment. I don't usually leave reviews even after a good experience, but this was a display of fantastic customer service and the two gentlemen who served me today were simply brilliant. Hopefully HR/management sees this, in an age where customer service isn't what it once was, these guys did the complete opposite. Five starts, great service and lovely people - fantastic! Thanks very much again gents!”
