“We have booked an overnight stay at the Cottage Lodge Hotel for our 1st wedding anniversary. Jackie who welcomed us on arrival was very nice, has served us very lovely tea and cake. The room we stayed in was spotless clean, with a very homey yet classy ambience. We had dinner in White Tails Restaurant and met the very friendly Ramsey, had our breakfast the next day in the same area, food and service was 100%. They have given us surprises which made our anniversary getaway even more memorable. Thank you very much, Cottage Lodge Hotel and White Tails Restaurant!”

“We've booked meeting rooms several times at UBCUK Southampton for training and interviewing. The rooms are modern, light and airy, and fully equipped with everything you would need. An external lounge within the centre with drinks facilities and seating was perfect for candidates to wait in, and the central location made it very easy to everyone to get to. The prices were incredibly reasonable compared to other inferior rooms in Southampton. Sarah was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and so professional. We would definitely use UBCUK again.”

“We went for afternoon tea Sandwiches were freshly made a totally delicious, generous amount of filling. Cakes made on site and were scrumpy, light and fluffy. No skimping on the cream and jam for scones. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend”

“Loved our long weekend at Spot in the Woods. Comfortable cosy room, excellent breakfasts, really cheerful and helpful staff, and the whole hotel was beautifully curated for a relaxing stay. Lots of walking options, very dog friendly too. A lovely place to chill out and recharge our batteries”

“Excellent stay and very professional staff , rooms are neat and clean if anyone is planning for a long stay in london this is the best apartment as bus stop is next door , railway station is just 5 min walk and all the restaurants and grocery stores are close by . Thanks will visit again”

“We had a lovely pre-Christmas family lunch at the White Horse. Not been here for a while, but was pleasantly surprised with the decor and updated interior. We were a party of 8 including 2 young children. The service was excellent as was the food. We will certainly be back.”

“Imogene and the team are absolutely amazing, they hosted our wedding and it was truly amazing. The food is second to none. The whole weekend was perfect from the forest walks to the cosy Comfy spacious rooms.”

“Wonderful hotel! We had a balcony room overlooking the harbour. Huge bed, complimentary gin, and prompt room service. The harbar was expensive and filled with 21st birthday parties. But the atmosphere was energetic and positive. The spa was small but perfectly formed. I wasn't sure I liked the windows looking in from the street seeing us lay in our swimwear by the pool, and I didn't like the fact some guests had their phones in there. But I would certainly stay again in future! Thank you!”

“A very nice hotel directly on the high street, with good parking and great access to the village high street. The bar is well stocked, and the restaurant has an excellent menu. The rooms are well equipped being restocked daily with tea, coffee and biscuits. I have only given 4 stars for the service because we were refused access to the dining room one evening, with the excuse that the kitchen only cooks for the tables booked. With the number of items on the menu this seemed like a brush off. As this trip was for our wedding anniversary and this was our day we felt quite perturbed by the reaction of the maitre'd. This meant we had to find an alternative place to eat at short notice.”

“An excellent one-night stopover, for a family get-together. Our Deluxe Double room overlooked the rear garden and was cool enough even in the middle of the heatwave. It was well furnished and good value. We had a great meal in the restaurant celebrating my birthday - although food a little slow, staff were attentive and spot-on with their comments and humour. The small English Breakfast was ideally sized - all the right ingredients without feeling too full. Kim's breakfast service was sublime. The stand-out feature of this hotel are the staff who are attentive, responsive and engaging. All well selected for the right attitude and very well trained - not easy in these post-brexit times.”

“Couldn't fault anything, In the heart of the New Forest. The reception lady was lovely, helpful and informative. The Spa facilities were great. The room was very clean with a lovely new bathroom and power shower. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and the two on site Thai and French Restaurants were absolutely fabulous. All in all an amazing place to stay.”

“Can't recommend this hotel highly enough! Dog friendly, the staff can't do enough for you and the service is amazing! The hotel is set is stunning grounds and is a sight to see (and stay in), rooms are clean, well equipped with all you need plus those little extras you hadn't thought of! We've been here a number of times and will keep coming back!”

“Spent a nice weekend here - lovely rooms and gardens. The food was excellent: we had breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant. Service was a little slow only. Really friendly staff and very attentive.”

“My family and I stayed at The Stag in June this year and there is nothing more to say than, when you are here, you are home. Steve, Maria and the rest of The Stags staff all make you feel like you are part of the family when you are here. The Stag is fit for royalty. The food is top notch and the drinks are great. Can’t wait to visit again. Unfortunately, google only allows me five stars or I would rate it higher.”

“Arrived, easy parking albeit not Tavern parking. First impression, awesome! Family feel vibe, very professional and great attention to detail. I do not usually review before we check out but we are just so happy and chuffed to have found this gem! Our room is lovely plus all the add ons - PROPER COFFEE, excuse the caps but you know if you know. Bottled water, beer, wine! Fabulous Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow! “An overnight stay for NYE, we had a voucher to use so upgraded to a suite and the room was huge, with a separate living space. My one grumble, although this applies to a lot of hotels, the room was so dark that getting ready was really difficult. I don't really want to do make up etc in the bathroom after having a shower as the room is hot, but the rest of the room was too dark to see. Bed was very comfy, the view of the cricket ground was incredible, and the breakfast was also brilliant with so much choice.”

“We held a 40th birthday party in the Vault. The service was superb and the room itself is phenomenal, a real talking point. Couldn't have been happier and will definitely use it again.”

“My wife and I held our wedding reception at the hotel on Friday and had the best day we could ever have imagined. A massive thank you to all of the staff involved but a special shout out to Maisie. From the minute I checked in the night before my big day I felt instantly at ease with my surroundings and was very well looked after. My room was spotless and very modern and had everything I could have needed inside. Having never previously stayed at the hotel before, I was very keen to make sure that I was able to decorate as I imagined and taste some food before all of my guests. “Fantastic Place, ideally located near Lyndhurst, a quaint little New Forest Village. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasted great. Also free car parking on site!”

“Louise at Enfields is absolutely brilliant - so responsive to questions, proactive, and found us a new tenant very quickly. Enfields were actually recommended to us by a previous tenant! We will certainly be using them again in the future.”

“Moved in up the road 5 months ago and I've gone here about 5-6 times. Sunday roast is also very good but they fill up fast so best to get there early. We had only gone once with the wife and kids but food was really good and at a reasonable price.”

“Recommended! I stayed collectively for 6 nights whilst my mum was in hospital. Had to keep extending my stay. Staff were really good to me. Room and facilities were great including the wifi. Shame there’s no gym but when to the diving/gym complex over the road so no issues. Great location for the shopping centre. Breakfast was great. Parking is £5 per day. Definitely stay here again but hopefully under better circumstances. Thanks to everyone at Moxy for making me feel comfortable!”
