“The Cherry Tree cafe is the first stop every time I visit Healesville. I may be biased in saying it but the Cherry Tree Cafe's French toast with extra berry compote and maple syrup as well as chantilly cream together with an English breakfast tea is always my go to order. All the other dishes look just as yummy but I just can't get past the French toast for a Saturday brunch!”

Other traditional dinner dishes are delicious and not difficult to look for the best one for everyone in the family. Pricing is reasonable especially for family dining. Highly recommend and will come back.”

“Today was a very special day for me spending time with family and I couldn't have asked for a better place to have lunch. All the meals we had at our table were so good,. The service was great and the staff couldn't do enough for us. I hadn't even booked for my granddaughters birthday and yet they made a fuss of her bringing a slice of cake and singing Happy Birthday. Thanks you made her day. Highly recommended for quality, quantity and price.”

“Always enjoy brekkie here, staff is really friendly and food is good. Always served with a smiling face. We’ve tried pretty much everything on their menu, but always go back for their crushed avo and eggs Benny. Tried one of the smoothies this time instead of the standard cuppa, which mind you is really good.”

“The rubbed okra tastes crazier, but the sheikh is a bit cold. It needs to be served hot/hot, so that the taste will be fresh. Other than that, I was very happy with the food. The prices are also very satisfactory, and the quantity of food was reasonable or more than expected .... Thank you”

“Loved our meals here in this unique location. The restaurant is located on top of a hill within the nursery. Great views down to the Maribyrnong river and the gardens of the nursery if you can manage to get a window seat. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was surprisingly, absolutely packed. We were lucky and managed to get a great seat near the windows after only a very short wait. A small menu, but plenty to choose from. My eggs Benedict with thick grilled ham was delicious and perfectly cooked, we also had a smoked chicken risotto and a sauteed forest mushroom dish. All delicious and attractively plated. The crispy fried potatoe wedges with sweet chilli and sour cream was a shared side and rounded out the meals nicely. The walk around the attractively arranged plant displays, all for sale, was a nice way to finish. Poyntons has their own adjacent carpark across the road which was chock a block when we got there, although we did manage to find a spot. This nursery and restaurant is obviously and rightly, very popular and I assume gets even busier on weekends, not sure if they take bookings.”

“Good little cafe to visit before hopping on a train. Staff always friendly and accommodating to my family and I. Love sitting down the back by the fish tank with my little ones. Coffee is a little more expensive than some other places but I find it worthwhile.”

“PD Cafe (Epping location) This cute local corner cafe / milkbar in Epping’s Aurora estate is located directly across from St Mary MacKillops primary school, and next to Creeds Farm Living and Learning Centre, is a perfect place to grab coffee, breakfast or lunch. We ordered the bircher muesli bowl with fresh seasonal fruit, and the smashed avo on toast with beetroot hummus & a poached egg. All dishes were flavoursome, fresh and made perfectly. This was the best smashed avo I have ever had! We finished off our brunch with some take away Waffle boxes. The Surprise Surprise (Kinder Surprise and chocolate) and Fruity (with strawberry and chocolate). The kids absolutely loved the waffles. And I have to say I loved the cinnamon on them, super tasty! Very friendly and welcoming vibe as soon as we entered, looking forward to my next visit.”
