“My wife received flowers this evening and unfortunately nobody was home to accept them. I arrived home at 6pm and Sally was at the door and had been waiting 10-15 minutes as no one was answering the phone or doorbell. I thanked her very much and she has gone over and above what I would have expected. Please thank her again from us”

“Stopped for a hot chocolate at Briquettes while on our Sunday morning walk. The place was buzzing, with loads of people enjoying the new venue at Harp Junction. Got to pat lots of dogs which always improves my day. Service was quick and friendly.”

“As a Kew local, I’ll definitely be back! Warm hospitality, prompt service and big points with me when it’s dog friendly!! It was a 22 degree day so we enjoyed the outdoor area. I had a delicious chai latte and the French toast which is from their new menu! My friend had the shroom panzanella which I’ll come back for the next time! Plenty of parking along the streets and this cafe is slightly tucked away from the main busy street which is great! Some calm to enjoy your meal and linger to chat. Loved this little gem of a cafe!”

“One of the best cafes in Melbourne. Loved the outdoors seating and there drinks is tasty and delicious we just tried drinking which was flat white and a a muffin. All were great. Also they have a great back yard with one table. Loved the place and will comeback again”

“Popped in for brunch to find a new burger menu. Some may say pineapple doesn't go on pizza but it was a smash on my Hawaiian burger! My wife had the smashed avo (one of us had to be healthy!). Be warned, the hash brown is quite sizable and very tasty. We felt well looked after by the serving staff and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.”

“This place is great the staff are friendly thr room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone will definitely be coming back here again Very clean soaps and shampoo and conditioner was left out . The pillows were very comfortable”

“small little nook in your local suburban area of kew that serves up big brunches and all the caffeine you need with their menu recently updated they now provide you with you classic brunch options as well as some dishes that have a slight asian twist to it honestly there is something for everyone! great spot for catching up with mates. there is a few indoor seating spots as well as a couple tables outdoors great for families plenty of parking as its all suburban street parking”

“Right at the junction, definitely a spot that stood out. Right by the tram stop, it’s enjoyable sitting outside just watching traffic , trams and people on a lazy midday with the dog. Ease of QR code menu ordering when seated outside, but also with option to order inside for those that opt to do so. Food is tasty - had the arancini and chicken parmigiana shared between myself and partner and sufficed for us both. Parma is moist and balanced with nice chips, loved the arancini.”

“This place is really good and nice seating arrangements for a pub. The meals are delicious, my favourite ones are the chicken Parma and the salt & pepper squid. The roast pork is an all time classic and a must try if you are a fan of pork. I come here frequently for lunch and dinner and they have great quality food and the staff are nice and friendly. I would recommend this place if you want to explore or are meeting with friends. They also cater well for group events and are heavily involved in supporting local sports clubs, i take my hat off to the good old Harp! Prices for meals are also reasonable and very affordable.”
