“Cafe is at a good location and open till 4.30 pm on weekends. Good choice of vegetarian food which got me excited. Loved the food we ordered and all the people visiting the Cafe were friendly including the staff. Will surely be my place to go again when I'm around that area. Reasonable price of food and good quantity size.”

“My partner and I stayed with Brighton Bay Apartments at the start of the year, for a couple of weeks and it was better than we could have hoped for. We had everything we needed to “work from home” in terms of setup. The team were very kind with their time and our rooms were cleaned often. We had secure parking in the basement which was easy to access and felt very safe! Great location, not to mention the coffee shop across the road, the pub and beach down the street!”

“Great Cafe with great tasting coffee and delicious food. Loved the idea of the "social table" allows ransom people to sit together and connect instead of eating alone. The bathrooms are clean with baby changing facilities and even a step stool for toddlers to wash their own hands. Everything blends well together but the kids area looked to be an afterthought. The toys were extremely dirty and almost all the toys were broken as if they were picked up from the road side. The toy house was still in good condition but the toy chest needs a keep open latch or a hook to keep the lid open to prevent kids jamming their fingers. As a parent you notice these things but the young staff would not have taken notice of this area, I hope my comment along with other parents feedback motivates the cafe to replace these toys or clean them.”

“The last time I visited the Brighton Kookai I was in love with a pink dress but didn’t feel I would often wear it. One of the girls, I think she was the manager put me in a matching short and blazer combo and now everyone at work knows it as my power suit. I visited earlier in the week and even when times are tough the Brighton girls are creating a positive environment and still giving their same amazing service.”

“We were pulled in for breakfast with the family to this fabulous place. I had been here before and was really looking forward to it. Obviously, I was already aware of the great presentation and flavors, but what truly stands out here is the creativity. It's what really drives this place. As a customer, that's what I appreciate the most, and I must say this place delivered once again. In my opinion, it is well worthy of a five-star review. By the way, the food was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the Smokey Benny, and the baked eggs were also sensational.”

“I visited Martin Street Cafe for brunch this week with my hubby and another couple to introduce each other to our new babies. The staff were attentive and accomodating, especially with two prams ! They moved tables around to ensure both prams could fit comfortably around our table. The coffees were hot and creamy (any new mums dream!) and the food was superb (perfectly poached eggs!!) We’ve already planned a return date to visit as they made it so easy for us to be there ! Thank you team, you made some new mums feel very comfortable and relaxed.”

“Little Sister is our absolute favourite breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe in Brighton. Their coffee is excellent, their pistachio cupcake is next level and they have the friendliest staff! Their meals are also really really really delicious and very well priced. Visiting Little Sister is a must!”

“Great place to stay and very central. Apartments are clean and spacious. Have been a few times and some rooms could do with a bit of a facelift, but overall everything you need for accomodation, laundry and cooking.”

“Dear Dendy- I’ve enjoyed it for decades. Parking in the basement: although it does not belong to the cinema it is convenient especially on rainy days. Upstairs the ticket and food / drink sales are handled smoothly by polite, efficient & friendly staff. Rare the person not pleased by them. Cinema seats comfortable, loo very clean though not new. I expect the covid pandemic delayed the planned renovations & it would be churlish not to understand. I’m just grateful this Church St icon survived for us to enjoy. So 4 stars now but back to 5 post imminent reno.”

“I recently stayed at the Quest for a couple of nights and I have to say Robert and Kathleen were so welcoming from the moment I arrived. The beach is directly across the road and it’s so beautiful. I highly recommend Quest Brighton to anyone. I’ll be back again soon!”

“Easy to book online through OpenTable- would recommend booking in advance. Nice that they've got the restaurant area seperate to the pub. Very nice restaurant but a bit difficult to locate where to go if you booked if you come through side entrance. Friendly staff. Great menu and food. Non-alcoholic beverages options on menu would've been nice. Parking is also difficult to find - on street. Will return.”

Toilet is clean- located outside and you need a key to enter. ☑️food- well presented/ plating. Flavourful. The charcoal waffle is not too sweet. Their chai and dark chai is perfect. ☑️service/staff- accomodating and welcoming. ☑️price- average. Worth spending with this kind of food and food service. 100% must try.”

“Thank you so much Leanne & team for hosting our wedding on 4/2/23. We had our ceremony and reception upstairs and it was the perfect amount of space for our 54 guests to spread out, eat, drink and dance. Leanne made sure the entire day was perfect from bringing me up to the bridal room before the ceremony, ensuring my bridesmaids and I had a great entrance to the ceremony and then putting some finger food aside for us afterwards. The timing of the reception was spot on with guests being fed hot meals quite promptly. She made sure our DJ and photobooth guy knew where to set up and chased my cake when it didn't arrive on time. I never had to look for Leanne, she was always there just making sure things were going well. The venue itself is really nice with the perfect view from the balcony. Many of our guests went outside for photos, especially at sunset. Overall the venue is great value, and we were so happy to find a place that already looked good inside - we just brought a welcome sign, and some flowers and candles for the tables. It was so convenient to have the ceremony and reception in the same place as well. We have had nothing but compliments from our guests on how comfortable they were, the food and drinks, the location and great vibe. “Warren is lovely and so i a reception staff and always accommodating. Beautiful rooms. Some pet friendly. Cleaning staff friendly and thorough. Rooms are nice and big, both bedroom and lounge and dining area. Balconies or courtyards. Your own laundry facilities. Good shower pressure and no problems whatsoever. Close to everything. No noise or dramas by other guests un both times ive stayed, both 5 years ago and now. Thanks guys”
