“Ordered the egg bacon cheese sandwich and breakfast roll, the latter was delicious. I'm not a bbq sauce person, but this bbq sauce in the breakfast roll was tasty. Cuppucino was good too! The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, would recommend this place to everyone, especially for tourists who are going to pick up their rental cars nearby.”

“Ella James has the best spring rolls around, they're at least double the size of regular spring rolls with pork, vermicelli noodles, shredded carrot and such in them. They also have a great selection of regular cafe food and Vietnamese Banh Mi with plenty of tables and friendly staff . 5/5”

“I was in a rush going to the gate this morning i was hungry thankfully Cafe Sol was the first cafe i stumble to, i checked their menu and ask the staff if they can make me a quick breakky for takeaway and with no hesitation they made me a good one. I asked for poached eggs, no bread, side of avocado, and bacon it was delightful. The coffee was good, especially because they are using St. ali roasted beans. Cheers, guys, keep up the good work”

“We stayed in "DeSpa" room. It was a lovely place for a quiet weekend getaway. The owner has been very friendly & helpful with everything in needed. The common kitchen supplies were kept well stocked with breakfast items including a variety of cereals, juice, bread, and farm fresh eggs. the room itself was very clean and the bed very comfy. Very recommended, 5 stars well deserved it!”

“This shop is an Aladdin’s Cave of food. The enticing aroma of fresh pizza baking is irresistible. There are a variety of take away foods i.e. devilled chicken wings $2 each, variety of meatballs, from $1.30 each, small and large serves of freshly cooked Ravioli bolognese, small take away ravioli $5, large $7. One side of the wall is dedicated to take away pre-prepared meals, veal and chicken tortellini, gnocchi, spaghetti, lasagne, spinach & ricotta cannelloni, all prepared in different sauces i.e. bolognese, napoli, carbonara at $6.30 each (450g) or 5 meals for $28.50. Cook at home pizza $7.90 for size 20cm X28cm, we chose a vegetarian, it was delicious as was the pizza cooked on site. This shop has a cheese section, a bulk foods section for ravioli, gnocchi etc., imported sauces, cakes, nuts, olives and Frozen foods from calamari to samosas, pies, gelato and a multitude of other frozen foods including Australian. The deli is well stocked. The bakery is located next to the deli and the aroma of fresh bread permeates that section, so tempting. Some take away food also available from the bakery. Four tables are set up near the deli for anyone wanting to take a load off to “eat in” the delicious pizzas or any foods from the deli, bakery or just to have a coffee with cake. The level of service fluctuates between very good and very ordinary depending on which staff is rostered on. Parking is very difficult if one visits on a busy day, may need to park further down the street. The store also provides Catering services. *would normally give a lower rating for the occasional lack of good customer service but, not on this occasion as most of the staff have been very pleasant. Note – the prices above reflect the day of visit, 29 October 2022.”

“Great drinks, food, and atmosphere. Espresso martini has strong coffee taste, which I appreciate (the staff told me it’s a double espresso shot, which doesn’t surprise me about Melbourne, the coffee snob city). Sangria is delicious. Will be my go to bar whenever I’m at Melbourne airport”

“We visited this Cafe after stopping in at the Eureka Centre (worth a visit too). The Cafe is lovely, with excellent coffee from Coffee Cartel Roasters. The homemade gluten free cake was hands down one of the best orange and almond cakes I've had in my life. There were plenty of fresh, locally sourced and tasty looking meals on the menu - with many gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. The only downside of this Cafe is that it's far out in Ballarat - a bit too far a drive for a Melbourne local to be a regular visitor, but would definitely recommend a stop in if you're coming out for a visit. Suitable for kids too!”

“I was put up here for the night after Virgin Australia cancelled my flight home. The staff at reception were wonderful, immediately empathetic to my situation, and helped me feel taken care of. Carol in particular was lovely, she even called my room when my UberEats arrived, even though I was preparing to head down and wait for it outside myself. Rooms were clean and comfy, they’re basic but that’s all you need for airport accommodation. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs to book a night layover through Melbourne.”
