“First thing to notice- how nice & genuine the staff were. Always so lovely & welcoming. Great energy inside, always filled with people, but always manage to secure a table too! Beers & burgers, and the cocktails/wine/French style food seems like it would be amazing. Something I want to experience. What a versatile place. Haven’t tried too many meals from the menu, wish there were a few more options. But the cinnamon scroll (heated up) and bacon egg roll.. yum. (And they do caramel syrup yay! Enabling my addiction) Parking was fine, down the road to the left was a parking lot :) or sometimes there were available spots out the front- parallel park.”

I've brought friends from interstate and overseas and they have hands down declared their baked goods are better than other famous bakeries in Melbourne. The friendly service is very welcomed too :)”

“Every time I visit the coffee is great and the food delicious. The first few times I went for business meetings and had coffee only. The last two times went for breakfast and tried the jaffles. Yum! Had the French both times. My dining companion had the American, then next time had the English. A big breakfast, but worth it for the flavours.”

“I usually take my two boys for a treat, a Chocolate Freeze, after school and Kindergarten on Fridays. I have to say that the Friday afternoon crew, and other staff on at the odd times I've popped by, are just really friendly and lovely. They remember what we have and really engage with my boys in the back seat. As someone who works in hospitality as well, I recognise and appreciate people who genuinely enjoy their job and interacting with people. You can teach people how to do a job, but you can't teach people how to like others: these ladies have personality in buckets! Thanks Friday afternoon Bean Squeeze crew in particular, and my boys will miss their treat when we move to Adelaide in two weeks time.”

“Fabulous place for coffee - even had a 2nd long black! The bullet proof coffee was lovely too - had a taste of my b-in-laws coffee. The slices were delicious and I saw some wraps being made too that looked fabulously fresh. Customer service was superb - friendly and warm.”

“I booked a cabin for one night and was very surprised with what I got for the price. It has everything you need, even a dvd player, hair dryer, electric blankets etc. The bed was comfortable, but there's quite a lot of noise from the road. The wifi didn't work on my 2 devices unfortunately, but I didn't mind for one night. The ladies at the reception were really sweet!”

“Visiting from.Warrnambool, Really nice place. Had a lovely meal for two.. just a very quick getaway for us old parents of teens! Battered fish and chips will salad for me, beef schnitzel with gravy and veg for hubby with a garlic loaf to start. All very nice to eat and lovely staff. Couple of drinks and some time at the pokies and then we walked back to our rices were r accommodation which was just 5 mins on foot. Recommended for a casual or even slightly more meal. Prices were very appropriate and large serving sizes. Can't go wrong at an RSL. xx”

“I cannot believe how wonderful this place is, rating it 5 stars was a major understatement! The place looks so modern and well organised I would recommend this place to anyone! If you’re on a budget or looking for a good high rated and quality motel this one is just perfect for you!!! The toilet/bathroom is literally a 5-star place and the layout and comfortability was better than any other places I’ve been to! They included shampoo, conditioner and body wash which was very handy! I also spotted some sugar which was a life saver and great to see provided by them! The beds were amazing and super comfy! Never felt a bed as high comfortable in a motel before!!! The AC was more than satisfactory and if I am every going to Geelong again, i know where I’m heading! Thanks so much Parkside Motel! Definitely will be back!!!”
