“This is our go-to cafe for breakfast, during the weekends. We like it here since it's not among the rather busy area in Aurora. Staff were friendly and they have a good selection of food. We especially like the salmon eggs benedict, which is the best we've had so far. Coffee is nice as well. They also sell some grocery staples and a spot for flowers/plants if you fancy. Overall really nice place in a quiet community.”

“An amazing place that offers so much. We had a delicious (& very generous) platter, with a glass of wine. So many options to choose from for the food & wine, with a varied menu that caters for everyone. Couldn’t resist buying a few bottles of wine to take home. Brett is a wonderful host, who personally looks after everyone that walks through the door - customers & his staff. Would give 100** if I could.”

“The best thing I ate this weekend (and many weekends before this) is the homemade soy milk and Taiwanese fried chicken fillet bento set at the Sunny Cafe, Springvale. There is a very small seating space so inevitably there’s a queue every single time we visit. Most people give up and takeaway. I see many loyal patrons ordering soy milk, Chinese doughnut and the luroufan (braised pork belly on rice). It’s also cash only which can be annoying if you don’t bring much cash. If you are up for delicious and are not fussed on the ambience and waiting time, go for this! You will be transported back to Taipei”

“The freshly squeezed orange juice is very nice and the crispy bacon that they have is but for me what tops are of is the spicy pork sausage and also watch out how thick the Crema is on a cappuccino sugar tends to float”

“Surprisingly good.. My partner and I live in the area this Cafe is located we have walked past it several times to go to the supermarket near by, but we have never stopped in. Untill, one morning after an early gym workout we were looking to go have breakfast somewhere and none of our usual favourite cafes were open, so I did a quick internet search to see if anything was open for breakfast at 7:30am and I was led to this place so we thought ok let's give it a shot.. And the verdict was good, great coffee, nice service and our breakfast was good with great portions and reasonable prices.”

“Lovely family run business. I had the delicious coffee, hedgehog and rocky road. The lunch menu looked great and reasonably priced. I also liked being able to sit in a comfortable booth. Can't wait to come back to sample a hot meal. Today(24 May) I brought my husband along for a hot meal.He agreed that the Nasi Goreng was delicious. Today, 10 June, I brought a friend along. We both really loved the flat noodles..delicious..a real winner.”

“What can I say. We came for a late lunch so didn't get to try the smoker meats so had a go of the 'up in smoke' sandwich. It comes with brisket burnt ends, American cheese, chilli mayo & BBQ sauce on a soft burger bun. Holy cow it's amazing! We got a side of BBQ rub fries that were to die for, along sigh the Mac and cheese & smoked chorizo succotash. The succotash isn't my cup of tea but the rest was absolutely fantastic. We tried each of the tacos, small but worth having a share. They have an extensive beer menu, do some funky cocktails and have a really fun outdoor atmosphere (where pets are welcome!). The waiter said everything, including the table chilli & BBQ sauce is make in house. If I lived in Melbourne I'd be here all the time. Reminds me of the states! Brilliant.”

“Amazing Italian food done right. No fuss, just the traditional way. Probably the closest you can get to Italy now due to Covid travel restrictions! However, this place is not your everyday eatery. The price is a bit steep, so it's definitely a place to go to for a special occasion. Not to mention, service was also great.”
