“Writing this review in retrospect as my partner and I have since moved out of the area - The service here by the super friendly Roland and co. is what kept us going back! Great coffee and generously sized sandwiches. It is a great mood booster to hear your barista singing along with Whitney in the early mornings before work!”

“We ordered long black and almonds croissant. The coffee is smooth and you’ll get layers of flavors after taste. Pastry is also very nice. Lovely place to have a morning/afternoon coffee with friends or just enjoy the moment being alone. Would like to purchase their beans next time!”

“We are a family of 5 (daughters 17-21yrs) visiting Melbourne from out of state for a holiday. We were after 2 x 2 bedroom apartments that were well appointed and comfortable, with some room to hang out, speedy wifi, comfortable beds, in a good location for shopping and dining and near public transport to get around Melbourne. The District ticked every box! We loved it here and are sorry to be leaving. We’ll be back next time we visit Melbourne though.”

“Our experience is that this is one of the best - no the best - one bedroom apartment in a central city area we have ever rented. And we have travelled a lot! Location is superb - close to the city, public transport (trains and trams), to Yarra River and Botanic Gardens (just a short walk away) and to Toorak Rd - one of the trendy shopping & eating precincts in Melbourne. The flat is beautifully renovated and fitted out, with ample storage, good kitchens, and is attractive and comfortable. And very reasonably priced for the area. Gary, the host is a lovely guy, who takes the well-being of his guests very seriously. All in all, 6 out of 5 stars for this one.”

“Wonderful place. We were here two nights. The check-in is up the road on Toorak Road and they gave us a pack that explained everything. The apartment was one bedroom with a small kitchen and dining room table, and a living area with two couches. The couches are about the size of a long single bed and were very very comfortable for sleeping. We requested that the towels were put into a swan shape (like in their advertising pictures) and they did it. Wonderful.”
