“Really friendly staff, a nice pub to visit, a small garden at the back,but very delightful.”

“We stayed here for a week. This park is great. Has all the facilities that you need. The shower block is very clean with six separate showers, men and women's toilets again very clean a laundry, washing up facilites and a sluice. It's a mix of caravans and tents, with and electric hook ups. A little shop and cafe. Such a friendly atmosphere, the kids made lots of friends and the usual night time quiet when the kids are in bed. Great site positioned well to explore the area.”

“Fabulous basic campsite. Consists of 2 large fields, basic amenities. But so relaxing, and Beanie who looks after everyone! Beautiful woods across the road for lil adventures. Perfect for families and camping with friends. We're serial visitors to this site!”

“Really great pub, a bit up market but very worth it. Just had renovations done and it looks amazing, a lot of parking space available as well. Staff are friendly and are dressed accordingly. Great atmosphere and booking a table would be advisable. Pints are a bit pricey and not too sure on the food, food did look good coming out of the kitchen.”

“Amazing!! Wild camping with the added bonus of a make shift toilet block and shower! If you want luxury don’t bother, go book a hotel, this is camping not an instagram fest!! .. but if you want clear night skies, unspoilt new forest ground and an incredible host then come here, you will not be disappointed! “Arrived here for my father in laws 60 birthday. Menu looked great as we booked. Walked in to a nice vintage style pub. We had booked a table online and we’re seated promptly. Usual drinks order taken. Faultless. Menus and allergen information. My wife has a nut allergy. All catered for. The food took about 20 ish minutes to come out. Which is normal. Incredible food. We all had something different and it was phenomenal. Desert was incredible and I personally had my starter at the same time. As I was the only one to have a started. Literally nothing was too much trouble. I can wait to come back here for another go. I like a good sized portion and they were all big and filling. We were served Sam. It was the best pub meal I have had in years!! Please give my complements to the chef also!! Thanks again.”

“Absolute gem.of a site..ive stayed here several times now, adults only, dogs allowed. Very quiet, facilities were great. Lots of drinking water taps, spaced out pitches. Its my favourite place to camp of im honest!”

“Haven't been here for a couple of years but definitely won't leave it so long before we visit again. The staff were really friendly, food was lovely and hot when served and they had a really good menu choice. Good mix of pub classics and some more unusual dishes. They had a separate GF menu that had a good selection of starters, mains AND puddings! Reasonably priced and good quality. Thank-you for such polite, friendly service and giving us time to enjoy our meal.”

“Jan is absolutely fantastic. From her knowledge, to her clean, spacious, calm home, she is welcoming and caring. We have left our 10m old Reggie with her 4 times now and he LOVES IT! When he returns, he is happy and relaxed. Have taken him to a dog day care previously but Reggie comes back exhausted and extremely thirsty. It's like he hasn't been able to relax. When he comes back from Jans, he's a lovely calm happy do. Jan has excellent knowledge of dogs and has shared some really useful tips with me. Fair to say Reggie has a friend for life with Jan. We won't go anywhere else!”
