“Meow Hotel looked after our cat for a week and it was an amazing experience all round. We needed to add on an extra day last minute and we were accommodated, booking and payment was very clear and easy. Most importantly they looked after Sherman perfectly, we could not be happier! Sherman was very happy and even more importantly, their Instagram page was updated regularly which is very comforting for us. Many thanks Natasha and Meow Hotel, we will definitely be back!”

“Abi and her husband really care for their doggy boarders. My whippet loves going and enjoys the freedom to run with her friends in the paddock, I have no hesitation in boarding her when needed, it's a doggy hotel in the full sense of the meaning.”

“We have been supported to arrange our mortgage and linked insurance by Rebecca Slaney and have found her to be the perfect balance of friendly and approachable, as well as professional. She has worked really hard to arrange the mortgage, staying in very regular contact throughout the process. She also offered support with other options such as insurance which was very helpful. Rebecca appeared knowledgeable, gave clear information and made sure we understood everything fully and that it met our needs. We would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a mortgage.”

“Cannot fault John German staff at all. From the start, Charlotte was very friendly who showed us round the property, answering any questions we had. Going through the application process Linda was extremely helpful too and we have found the company as a whole a lot more friendly than other letting agencies we’ve used before. Having their own app was very useful, enabling us to sign documents without having to visit the office and even the option of transferring all our bills easily on an app too. We’ve settled in to our new home nicely, thanks to John German.”

“A great real ale pub close to Derby station, worth the trip from other parts of the country if you’re both into real ale locally brewed and lots of train memorabilia. Helpful labels on the hand pumps to tell you what beers are locally made too.”

“Great location, lovely building, quiet, comfy and good food. Enjoyed the atmosphere of eating in the sunny orangery overlooking the extensive grounds.. with good food not an enormous menue (always a good sign as obvs freshly cooked!) and a friendly service. Felt relaxed after a great night's sleep.”

“Having recently just completed on a property in Derby centre I have dealt with Ashley Adams Estate Agents over the last few months since my offer was accepted. In the past I have used various Mortgage Consultants, but by far have had the best experience with Matthew Thomas who is the Mortgage Consultant at the branch. He was diligent in everything he did to find us the best mortgage rate and kept us up to date at every stage of the process. “Stayed here for 2 nights wish I stayed longer. Everything you could possibly need in the apartments. Clean and attention to detail was good, even had a card from the manager wishing a pleasant stay etc. Staff on the phone were friendly and helpful. Plus free parking always a bonus.”

“We recently used BB&J for starting a new tenancy and have had a great experience so far. Staff are always helpful and polite on the phone and kept me up to date with our application. Katie has been dealing with our tenancy and she has been great, she is efficient and quick to respond to emails whether its paperwork, answering our questions or contacting the landlord. “Family weekend, with a mobility restricted adult and a picky teenager. The welcome was warm and professional- we needed a room that was easy to get to with a person of limited mobility and our requirements had been understood and addressed. The sprawling site was a little off putting but the hotel thoughtfully arranged a golf buggy (and driver) to help ferry the less mobile member of the group around and were responsive when asked at 10 mins notice when we needed to get around. The staff are friendly and engaging, the food is very nice and the menu was varied. The pool is a nice size and well maintained with decent changing rooms and pleasant staff. Wifi is fine and easy to access. None of us are golfers , but the golfers seemed happy enough... so if that's your thing I'd say go for it. Special mention to Charlotte who was an absolute gem!”

“Hired the Ballroom for a party of around 70 people and the event was very good. Plenty of food in the buffet and great service at the bar. Would recommend for any parties or other special events.”

“I honestly can't see why people have given below 5 stars, it has only taken 1 stay for this hotel to become my and my partners favourite. By far. Ellie (if i remember rightly) a lovely person who genuinely wanted to make our stay relaxing and fabulous. In fact, all of the staff couldnt be any more helpful. The room was perfect, i cant fault it, it was a very warm night and the staff provided us with a fan. The complimentary tea, cofee and chocolates were a beautiful touch. Great views too. We had come back from a week away in spain and both agreed we'd have much preferred a week at this hotel. Our hostess was impeccable, the food was exquisite and they are very family friendly. For how immaculate the dining area is, i was worried about taking our baby and small child, but was made to feel completely welcome. We will be coming back for a longer stay and we look forward to it. Thankyou again for an excellent experience!”

“Really nice premier inn, right in the city centre by the bus station but the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as well. Need the key to enter the building at night so felt safe.”

“Lovely place to visit. Came with the family. Friendly staff and inviting, unlike it use to be as never really felt welcome. The kids cinema room and colouring area went down a treat as did the outside play area. The food was lovely quality and we didn't have to wait long for food between each serving. The decor was lovely and went well as a theme. The staff were very helpful and couldn't have done anymore to welcome us.”

“Back again! Busier this visit, but the staff are still as attentive and always have time for a chat. I was incredibly tired when I arrived and the staff gave me a room out of the way which was very much appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast is great, lots of selection and the staff whizzing around keeping everywhere clean. Check-in and out is easy, everything just seems to flow nicely at this hotel with professional and knowledgeable staff. Great place to stay.”

“What a lovely, lovely place this is. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the super friendly front of house staff who went out of their way to provide a perfect space for me to do some work, to the bar and servers at dinner and the lovely crew at breakfast, everything was truly great. Food was very good, we had lunch, dinner and breakfast and all were delicious. The rooms were spacious, ours was enormous with a separate sitting room and lovely roll top bath - the only issue being that showering was really messy as no shower curtain was provided. We will definitely return as soon as possible.”
