North 680

"VERY noisy if you have a heavy walker above you or a noisy person in general, you will hear them (and feel them because it shakes throughout the unit when they walk). The building is poorly built in between levels. Get yourself a good sound/white noise machine. Highly recommend selecting a top floor unit. I have lived in multiple rentals and the noise above has never been as bad as it is here. I notified management of this but I do not think there is much they can do about it since it's a structural issue. The overall apartment complex and facilities are great. The pool, gym and game lounge are nice and parking is easy. The grounds are also very well kept with beautiful plants/flowers. It is also convenient to walk to the Plum Grove Reservoir/Harper College (under 10 mins). The office staff is responsive. Upon moving in my allergies were horrible the first few days which led me to have the carpet in the bedroom steam cleaned again (the complex said it was cleaned before I moved in). It pulled up a lot of dirt/debris from the carpet and the company showed me the dirty water from the clean. I notified management so they were aware of the issue. Will update as needed throughout the duration of my lease."

"I wish the noise from the upstairs apartment wasn’t so loud, because this complex is great and very clean. The shared spaces are amazing and always well kept BUT I’m literally struggling with sleep from the noise from the apartment above me. At all hours of the night it’s very frustrating especially if you need to wake up early. So do yourself a favor and rent the apartments on the top floor"

"I’m glad I ended up not renting an apartment here. Martha, Property Manager was very rude in speaking with me when I simply asked her to look at my application again due to inaccurate information that was placed on my credit report. She said, you need to contact Rent Grow and they’ll explain the reasoning—this is after I told her they removed the information and re-sent the application to their location with the revised report. I can see why the others have given the reviews they have. Be careful with this property."

"I have lived at North 680 for several years now. The apartments are beautiful. The management team is fantastic (Kurstie and Martha - Thank you!). The other residents are kind and friendly. I love it here and have no plans to leave anytime soon. Highly recommend 680 to anyone looking for a great place to live!"

"My husband and I absolutely love living in North 680. The apartment is the nicest and most modern we could find around the area. Very nice appliances, big open concept apartments, everything brand new. The gym has top of the art equipment and is very well maintained. The pool is a very nice place to be during summer. All the common areas are cleaned daily by Polo, the nicest maintenance guy I have ever seen. If you have a chance, get a heated garage: it is big enough to be used as a storage too. We were a little concerned about the new management, since we had a great experience with the previous one, but it turned out to be even better! Kurstie and Martha are wonderful, very courteous and attentive, and really make sure you have a good experience living here. After having bad experiences in other places where they would only care about getting new people in, they make North 680 feel like heaven. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern apartment with great amenities and very good and quiet location."
