"STAY AWAY. Horrible place. If I could give negative stars, I ABSOLUTELY would! I am extremely disappointed in this property and their management and completely embarrassed that this is a place I now have to live for 12 months. I moved in June 23rd. I was not able to get my keys until after 4pm (their policy). I did a quick walk through, noticed no red flags, unpacked the uhaul and the other vehicles with help from my son and his friends, took a shower and left the apartment at round 6:00pm for the night. I picked up the keys to my new apartment on 6/23/23 just after 4pm. I did a quick walkthrough and the apartment seemed fine. I unloaded all of my items, took a shower and left for the night. When I returned home after 5 am the next morning, I found roaches in the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room. I called the office when they opened at 10am and no one answered the phone. I went up to the office after 10am and reported my problem. There was no sense of urgency, I was told that pest control cost 3 times as much on the weekends and that they would try to get someone out. At 3:44 pm that day, I found roaches in the bedroom as well. I had not heard from the office as to whether someone was coming, I checked back in with them and was told no one could come until Monday or Tuesday. By then I had purchased a very strong bait and was attempting to remedy the situation on my own. I did not stay in my apartment the night of the 24th, I returned home on Sunday the 25th to the apartment at 5:46am and found dead roaches everywhere. The kitchen floor, kitchen cabinets, living room floor, dining room floor, hallway, bathroom, entry closet. I did see several live but almost dead roaches through out the day on Sunday. It did appear the bait I purchased was effective. I left the apartment the night of the 25th after 7pm. I returned this morning the 26th of June a little after 8 am and found a dead carcass. I sent another email to Greystar as I had been updating them daily. I finally received a call from the property manager at 11:39 am on Monday June 26. She stated she was unaware of the situation, which I questioned her about because I was told on Saturday that she had been made aware and was wanting to ‘make things right’. When I spoke with the property manager and explained that I could not live in my apartment under these conditions she was apathetic and dismissive. She called me again to let me know that pest control would be out later today, she was very short and refused to acknowledge that pest control is the landlord’s responsibility. She said pest control was coming and that was it. She considered the issue handled. I however was not satisfied, I emailed her again citing tenant/landlord laws in Az and received another call from her that pest control was coming, and that my emails were being forwarded to the companies attorney because I cited the law and I would receive a ‘formal response’ from them. I left a voicemail for Greystar Corporate Office at 12:15 pm on the 26th and have had no response. At no time did I receive an apology or any understanding. I did receive insulation that this was MY problem, that I somehow caused the issue. I was not offered another apartment or any kind of help with lodging. At this point I can’t even unpack or live in my apartment until this is resolved. This is not at all how I was hoping my experience with this property would be. I picked up my keys Friday, excited to be in what seemed like a nice community and now it feels more like a nightmare. The funny thing is, just before 5:00pm today I received 19 emails in 4 minutes regarding my rental insurance that I submitted in June 9, 2023. I had more responses for something they believed I didn’t do for THEM vs any responses for an issue that was their responsibility. I have made several calls to the corporate office as well as the regional office since and have had no response from them. I was however emailed by the attorney for citing landlord/tenant laws."

"My family and I have been here almost 2 months now and we absolutely love it here!!! The property is well maintained, the pool is always kept clean. I love that the units have skylights and a nice open floor plan, Very spacious and clean. Lauren is very attentive anytime we call, I’m glad we chose to live at 1408 casitas!!"

"My family and I have been living here for 4 years and have gone through 4 different management companies since and I have to say the recent one for the past year Greystar Management has been by far the best! Manager Crystal is amazing. She follows through what she says and works hard for our community. She is so helpful to our needs. She is so nice and so respectful. Assistant manager Lauren is also very nice and respectful. Both are very sweet and kindhearted. The maintenance crew is also the best we’ve ever had. They get things done and we’ve needed that for a long time. The entire team is amazing!!! It’s nice to finally feel comfort in our community!! A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!! You are very much appreciated."

"Just moved in this past summer and have had such a great experience with the management and maintenance team. The assistant manager, Lauren, has been so kind and helpful with any concerns/issues that I’ve had. The maintenance team has been great in addressing my work orders in a timely manner. The leasing office team overall has been so easy to communicate with and they are making great improvements in the community with the TNR project, apartment renovations, and the resident events! It’s been great living here. :)"
