"This place has really been amazing. Apartments are spacious, the neighborhood is safe, and we are close to both the sea coast and a large green space. The apartment recently updated the package system, and this has been a technological shock - whenever package arrives, the pick-up process is completely automated, with detailed steps to ensure no one mis-picks. The lobby door control is also quite advanced and safe. Last, a big shout to the manager Angel. Always prompt in responding emails, even on weekends. I will recommend the place to my friends."

"Let me tell ya’ll! Citizen Bayonne is where to be if you’re looking for peace and quiet! The water view that overlooks the apartment is immaculate! It doesn’t get old. There, you’re able to clear your thoughts - it's therapeutic. I knew the moment I visited the property that this was home. Not only is peaceful and quiet, but it’s a safe neighborhood to live in. There is a fire department and a police department nearby. There are assessable shops nearby; both within walking distance and driving. I’ve been living here for four months and my experience here has been fantastic. Angel is the MAN! The GO to MAN! He's charismatic and he attends to our concerns we bring them to his attention (very accommodating). He handles them as if they were his own. This is the type of property manager you would want to have when renting a complex. He organizes engaging community events for all residents; not too long ago we had a wellness event and an ice cream social event just to name a few. I always have positive feedback to give when others ask how my experience is living at Citizen's Bayonne."

"I have been at Citizen Bayonne for over a month now and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I grew up in Bayonne and I am not new to this area either, having lived in another complex down the block for 3 years. I love the area, it’s beautiful and quiet, with a nice walkway by the water. I had no intentions of moving but my old complex changed management teams and it went downhill fast. When I decided to move, good management/ maintenance team were very high on my list of must haves. This place has not disappointed at all! The building is brand new and very well taken care off. I see the staff cleaning it multiple times a week, both inside and out in the courtyard. I love the layout of my apartment and the balcony! Prior to my tour, I had read some other reviewers complain about the appliances not being as nice bc of things like not having an ice maker in the fridge. Personally, these are very small things for me that are easily fixable. Overall I found the appliances to be good enough for my needs. I am also not new to these apartment set-ups so things like “extra fees”, layout of garage, location of trash rooms are pretty standard across all these apartment complexes in Bayonne. I can not say enough good things about the team here at Citizen Bayonne. I initially did my tour with Beejal back in July when I decided to not renew my lease. She was so kind and patient with me as I selected an apartment, and then had to wait WEEKS to sign the lease because my old management team was not responding. When I finally got things sorted out, she was super quick to get me onboarded and help set-up anything I needed. The great: Angel the property manager. I kid you not that I have been completely blown-away by his work ethics. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work. He has (and continues to) go above and beyond in addressing any and every concern of mine. I have yet to send him an email and he didn’t take care of it for me IMMEDIATELY. I also see him sending community emails at all times of the day regarding things like updating residents, addressing any issues and the parking garage. I will admit that I was VERY nervous that we don’t have a gate for the garage. It was one of the things I had asked about when moving and I have been assured it is in the works. But my concerns have significantly gone down because multiple times a week, Angel will send an email regarding a car parked illegally. It makes me feel much safer knowing he’s keeping such a close eye on who is going in/out of the parking garage. I hope that Angel is here for the long run and never leaves!! I know they are working on a sister building down the street and I hope that they continue to provide this level of service even when they have multiple buildings with tons more units to manage. For now, I am SO happy I took a chance and moved here!"
