Nazrul - Awarded Best Curry House in UK
● Closed“We were meant to go here a couple of years ago then the pandemic hit so it got delayed. It was tricky to book as it's so popular but we got a table for lunch and decided to each have a different tasting menu so we could try everything on offer. The service was brilliant, the food was sublime. The offer of a cheese course before the desserts was very welcome, and the selection of cheeses was great.”

London Stock
● Closed“Exquisite cuisine, best in class service with friendly and knowledgable staff who made the whole evening enjoyable. It was my mother in law’s birthday and we wanted to treat her somewhere nice. Having read the incredible reviews, we decided to dine at London Stock. We ordered the tasting menu and the food was honestly the best food we’ve ever tasted. We dined at a Michelin 3-star restaurant (Uliassi) just the month before coming here, and have to say the food in London Stock is far more superior. Not only was the food cooked to perfection but also the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. Thank you for making my mother in law’s birthday extra special. We will definitely come back.”

The Cinema in The Power Station
● Closed“An absolutely thrilling experience viewing a re-run of Top Gun Maverick in Dolby Cinema. I believe it’s the first independent Dolby Cinema site in the world! Amazing. The venue has the privilege of being located inside the wonderfully restored Battersea Power Station. I have visited their boutique cinema in the Arches at the complex and I have always been a fan of their cinemas but the newly opened Dolby Cinema is pure magic. The sound is absolutely out of this world and the picture is stunning. I can compare this to the Dolby Cinema Odeon in Leicester Square and this venue beats it hands down. Far better seats ensuring a brilliant view even for shorter customers. Amazingly dark so you can really experience the contrast visually and totally immersive and clean sound that makes you feel the audio but doesn't deafen you. Five out of five stars seems stingy to be honest. I just wish I could give it more. I left this beautiful venue last night with a grin on my face! We will be seeing Avatar in 3D tomorrow. Bring it on!”

Flat Iron London Bridge
● Closed112-116 Tooley Street, London SE1 2TH, United Kingdom“I really love this concept. This was my second time in London and eating at Flat Iron this year and they didn't disappoint. Once you walk in, they get you seated, bring you a cup of popcorn immediately while you're waiting for the service to make your order. The steak is delicious and once you're paying you'll get a small "coin" for an exchange for the ice cream at the bar as you're leaving. I love this concept! No extra charges for the popcorn and ice cream. Good job!”

London Fields Lido
● Open“Really great way to spend a summer day. Easy to book but accepting walk ins (at least in the morning). It gets pretty crowded but not unmanageable. You need to put your towel on the ground that is concrete but the pool is not overcrowded. Remember to take 1 pound for the lockers (retrievable). They have a cafe that serves coffee, drinks and food through the day. If you book morning you can stay practically the whole day. There is enough place decaded for both free swimming and the professional swimming. Highly recommend!”

London Transport Museum
● Closed“An informative and enjoyable museum full of London’s rich history of transportation. It took a little over an hour to go through everything and it was great. They have some actual historical vehicles in the museum and you really gain an appreciation for the evolution of how we got to where we are today. The staff was also great, with the lady making sure we only bought the cheaper ticket relevant to tourists.”

Helena's Bed and Breakfast South East London
● Open“A very cheerful welcome by lovely, helpful, kind people. Helena and Jessica are doing a fab job and we loved the little room we stayed in. The breakfast was a delight, all that fresh food and the toast and choice of tea or coffee and all that was needed. We may well stay there again, if we manage to save up pennies for a further trip to London- the most exciting city with the loveliest people. Peckham is interesting.... very multiculti and absolutely fine!”

Sydenham Wells Park
● OpenTaylor's Lane, London SE26 6LA, United Kingdom“One of the highlights of living in the area is this wonderful park. I go for a stroll through Wells Park regularly and it is so huge that no matter how many people there are, you still feel like there's so much space to wander. It has a separate play area for under 5's as well as a park for older children. There's also an outdoor gym, x2 Tennis courts, a Basketball court and x2 two small ponds with different species of ducks to familiarise yourself with. The park rangers take great care of the park and it is always kept tidy. There's public toilets too and sometimes there's a food truck and ice-cream van parked inside the park for all your snack needs. I highly recommend Wells Park as a hidden gem in South East London”

Premier Inn London Tooting hotel
● Open“I stayed at the Premier Inn last month before moving into my flat in London and had a wonderful experience. I got there early and the staff kindly stored my four suitcases while I ran some errands. When I returned, the most lovely woman was working at the front desk. Her name is Consuelo and she is an absolute gem. Since I had so much luggage, I took two bags down to the room and before I could return to the front desk there was a knock at my door. Consuelo had brought the two suitcases weighing 45kg in total down to my room herself and made sure I got them. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. As a young female traveling solo I felt incredibly safe throughout my stay. The next few mornings Consuelo greeted me with a big smile and helped me with breakfast. I am gluten-free and the staff was super knowledgable and was able to give me a lovely GF breakfast of hash browns, bacon, GF toast, and loads of other goodies. Overall, I had a fabulous stay and will definitely recommend the Premier Inn in Tooting to any friends and family that visit. Thank you Consuelo for being so helpful and kind!”

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London
● Open200 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7UT, United Kingdom“Super Hotel, amazing staff, best location ! We were there for 7 nights with a family of 5 so we booked 2 rooms. The hotel is easily accessible from Waterloo underground or Waterloo train station. The entrance & lobby are spotless and spacious. The front desk staff are amazing, thank you Ana and Francesca for all your help ! The rooms were really spacious, comfortable, clean, and all the fittings were in good working order. With a large selection of TV channels and a kettle, tea, coffee, and biscuits, just right for a quick relax. The breakfast was amazing with something for everyone, whether you like a full English breakfast or something more "continental", it's all there. I used the workout room nearly everyday, it's well stocked with enough equipment to easily work off those extra breakfast calories. The concierge service was very useful and the people there were wonderfully helpful. I had some packages delivered there prior to our arrival, stored luggage there and booked a car to take us back to the airport. Thank you ! All in all we would love to come back to this wonderful hotel. If you are in London and looking a great hotel in a perfect location, this is the one for you.”

Park Plaza County Hall London

New street cafe at hotel has hot water bottles and heaters for the colder days. Short walk to St Thomas's hospital, London Eye, South Bank entertainment center and Westminster bridge.”
-
Premier Inn London Southwark (Borough High St) hotel
● Open“Really good location, and my room is the largest I have stayed in at a London hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, even offered to make me dinner after the kitchen was closed. My only gripe is that the restaurant dinner menu is very limited, but with Borough Market on the doorstep this really didn't bother me”

Hotel Motel One London Tower Hill
● Open“Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you won't be disappointed. Lovely welcome by receptionist. Room was a good size and v. clean with city view out. Nice seating lobby area. Would definitely stay again, if we got a good price like this time, as booked quite a way in advance.”
-
City of London School
● Open“Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”
-

We loved the pool and Sauna. They have parking which you have to pay for and the breakfast selection was incredibly tasty and a great selection. Anna was really kind to my daughters. Thank you for letting us stay, it was really fun & we had an amazing time there.”

Hyatt Place London City East
● Open“This has easily become my new favourite place to stay in London. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (and actually look exactly like on the website)! When checking in I got a kind upgrade to a corner room and let me tell you, that made the stay 100% better — at night, the skyline gave total New York vibes & at sunset, the golden sun rays filled the room (check picture Nº 8 for proof, haha)! The staff are super friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and overall, the stay was really really great value for money! 100% recommended ♥️ Can’t wait to be back!”
