Martin & Co Romford Lettings & Estate Agents
● Closed“I cannot recommend Rak and his team highly enough. We have been tenants at our flat for just over four years and we have never had an issue with getting in contact with the office or getting quick replies/actions. We have always been dealt with professionally and warmly, including during COVID lockdown when times were tough for everyone. When we have had small issues with our lovely flat (only wear and tear), the team have always been very quick to get it resolved, deal with plumber/electrician directly and accommodate any work around our busy schedules. Would recommend tenants and landlords alike to deal with Romford Martin & co - thank you for all your effort over the last four years!”

Kidspace Romford
● Closed“This place is a must if you have small kids and live near/visit Romford. Situated in the Brewery Shopping Centre with a multi-storey car park. It offers plenty of attractions, all sorts of mazes, slides, mesmerising lights. It cost us £21 (2 adults x£5 + 1 child x£11). Our little "Energizer Bunny" was finally tired at the end of the 2 hour session. If your little one doesn't have the ability to climb and play independently, be prepared to navigate through multiple mazes on several levels, wear comfy clothes. Oceanarium is an interactive sea world room within with ocean images projected on room's walls and floor, it's one of its kind in the whole of Europe and is worth visiting (book it at the reception for free, don't miss it). There's a sand box that with the help of a projector mimics terrain with low levels appearing to be filled with water, hills green and white mountaintops. There's a variety of soft play areas with mazes and slides to explore depending on their level of confidence (and willingness of parents :D ) There's a cafe inside that offers hot food and drinks as well as restaurants outside immediateltly of Kidspace. There are onsite bathrooms and plenty of surfaces to sit on. Soft play areas require you to take your and child's shoes off.”

Indian Ocean Romford
● Closed“First visit, parking for 5 or 6 cars in front but we managed to park easily on the opposite side of the road (care - some spaces are double yellow lines). Recommended by a friend and I add my recommendation to hers. Choice and quality of food superb, up there with the very best we've had. Recommend lamb shanks and mixed grill, but everything looked and tasted great. Didn't have a starter and just as well as portions were a good size. Had a poppadom each instead and even the dips were excellent. Try the lime pickle with chickpeas, excellent. Price was very reasonable, 3 beers and a bottle of wine between 4, main course and sides, about £25 a head. Don't be put off by a couple of surly waiters, with food this good you can suffer a little bit of moody service. Oh, and they had run out of Cobra Zero so the driver had to move on the water, also no Baileys for the complimentary drink, but can't really allow that to detract from the high quality of the food. We'll be back!”

Ihsaan Tours
● Closed“We as a family were very fortunate to choose ihsaan tours for our umrah trip, every experience was 5* high expectations from far and beyound. Both of the hotels in makkah & madinah where near the haram walking distance al hamdulliah couldn't ask for more, the experience and the knowledge from the sheikh was so helpful and it made our umrah more easy and understanding. The ziyaraat was mind blowing and amazing experience, so once again to ihsaan tours and the fabulous team memeber who helped us and gone extra miles to make our umrah trip more blessing and a great memory for our family. Essex Wildlife Trust, Bedfords Park Nature Discovery Centre
● Closed“Great park. Probably the best in the area to be honest. Long walks, great views and a real sense of being away from it all... even though it’s only 5 minutes away from the outskirts of Romford. Oh, plus the deer compound and the secret walled garden. Just to add to the allure!!! Update... they now have some new play equipment near the main car park. Fantastic!”

Capstick Dale & Partners
● Closed“We used Capstick Dale for the recent sale of our property. The service we received was excellent. Lauren Beasley was very thorough and responsive to any questions that we had. This is our third move but the first one when we have used Capstick Dale, and it was by far the smoothest, bearing in mind - this is during the pandemic (when nothing is easy). Due to the pandemic there was limited face to face contact but just because we didn't meet Lauren we didn't feel that she was any less invested in our case. I personally felt that we would have received the same high standard of service whether we were selling a 100K property or a 2 million pound property. I would highly recommend and will use again”

Eastbrookend Country Park
● Open“Pleasantly surprised how well kept this park is. It’s certainly not impacted like the nearby Beam Valley park by drunks and littering. I love the little wooden sculptures popping up. Quite flat but so versatile with sectioned out structure and the pond in the middle. Pictures in early Mar, but still a nice walk.”
-
Kuzine Turkish Restaurant
● Closed“Back open after a well deserved 1 month holiday following on from being open all through Covid and doing Eat Out to Help Out, the food is just as good as ever! The starter's are varied with some really interesting things on the menu. Main courses are good and again there is a lot of different Turkish dishes ensuring variety but even if just going for a mixed kebab like me you are assured it is delicious and perfectly cooked, served with a good salad, proper Turkish bread and a choice of Rice or Bulgar which I usually chose!”

Havering Country Park
● Open“It’s really a beautiful park where one can enjoy time with friends and family. "If you drive to, say, Shenandoah National Park, or the Great Smoky Mountains, you'll get some appreciation for the scale and beauty of the outdoors. When you walk into it, then you see it in a completely different way. You discover it in a much slower, more majestic sort of way."”

I can taste they clean the pipes regularly so the alcohol taste fresh, other pubs don't clean often and can notice the difference.
