“This is a two Michelin star restaurant in east London so prices are high but definitely worth it. The dishes have a Brazilian background but with a fusion twist and, for lunch, you can choose between a five and nine courses meals. We went for the 5 courses with wine tasting and it was delicious I have to say. It's very small but with a very nice atmosphere. You can also see the kitchen and the magic they do behind lthe counter. The staff is very polite and prepared. Definitely worth going if you like fine dining experiences.”

“One of the best Persian restaurants I’ve been to. The portions sizes are more than big enough and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the lamb shank, it was soft and melts in your mouth. Also the shisha was excellent. Will definitely come again.”

“Went here with my girlfriend. It’s a tapas place, so expect small portions. The food was really really good. I was mostly surprised by the Jerome’s desert, so definitely get it. For food, we got the 3 dips dish and 3 other dishes, and that was enough for us. If you like Middle Eastern food, I’d recommend it.”

“Good place to try some old school cooking. The veal escalope and the sirloin were done to perfection. Amazing stuff, polite and knowledgeable, treating us really good. Served even limoncello and fresh fruits as end of the dinner without us ordering. Main dishes portions are big so be careful how many starters you’ll order. No speed service, no one will rush you to finish your food, we spend more than 3 hours there, and left with pleasant feelings. Will visit again in the future.”

There was a glitch with the online booking system which meant they were not expecting the 10 of us, but Saraswati made arrangements to find us a suitable area of the restaurant swiftly. The food was great and she was really passionate about her restaurant and advising which food options to try. We would return for sure!!”

“I didn't eat at this restaurant however I broke down outside the restaurant and the lovely man working that night came out to check on me twice and asked if I wanted to sit inside while I waited for someone to tow my car. They let me use their facilities as well which I really appreciated. “I opted for the crayfish party menu with bottomless Prosecco (£45pp). The crayfish came with a side salad which was lovely and fresh, a cheese pie and the dessert was a creamy vanilla ice cream with strawberries. Food was delicious and staff very attentive, we never had to request a refill in the bottomless drinks and I was surprised with a lovely slice of cake for my birthday as a surprise! We finished the meal off with shots of aquavit, lingonberry cocktails and a traditional Nordic song. They do nice coffee too. I’d definitely recommend.”

“In my opinion, one of the best bars in the world. If not the best. Staying in the M By Montcalm for work and have visited the Plate Bar multiple times. Their bar staff is amazing, to the point where I will be staying at the hotel from now on due to them. Tom invented a cocktail while I was here, now named the Chris (after me), that will be on the summertime 2019 menu. It's the perfect citrus summertime coctail, strong and tasty. The ingredients are extremely well blended so it does not have a strong taste of alcohol. Be careful! Both smooth and refreshing. Highly recommend. Order the Chris! Or any other cocktail... They're all amazing.”
