“Great location for business use. Rooms are modern and clean, and staff (Julie) always helpful and cheery on arrival. Unfortunately no restaurant, but Costa and local Pub within 2 mins walk provide good alternative.”

“We ate in as a treat for my daughter’s birthday. Good speedy service. Food tasted great. Ate what we could and packed the rest in the pizza boxes for later. Would recommend anyone to visit. Music was a little loud but I should have just asked for it to be lowered. I mentioned it as we were leaving and got the impression the colleague/ manager? would have lowered without fuss. Very happy daughter. With the opening offers would have been cheaper to collect and take away but daughter wanted to eat in. Worth the extra.”

“Pleasantly surprised how well kept this park is. It’s certainly not impacted like the nearby Beam Valley park by drunks and littering. I love the little wooden sculptures popping up. Quite flat but so versatile with sectioned out structure and the pond in the middle. Pictures in early Mar, but still a nice walk.”

“Pleasant place to go for a walk. The country park is full of wildlife, we saw a few Herons. Not inundated with mosquitoes like some of the places a bit further north, despite the wetlands. Enjoyed the information about the old hospital.”

“First time ordering here last night and was pleasantly surprised at how most and delicious their chicken donner was. Very pleased with the portions as well, they give you plenty l couldn’t finish it at all. The chips were the best I’ve had with any donner meal soo far and their salad portions are very generous too. “Lovely 1 bedroom apartment in quite locality. Close to supermarket and park. Ayesha have been a superb host. She is very friendly and happy to help always. We stayed at this place for about a month. As we relocated from abroad to London found this place a perfect one for us. Have loads of pots, plates and cutlery if you want to cook. Overall a great stay.”

The landlord and the beautiful lady that works beside him are great people and always helpful,perhaps the staff needs to learn a bit more on customer service skills so the level of service remains consistent.”

And Mayes Brook River goes through the edge of the Mayesbrook Park! Across the southern side of the Mayesbrook Brook, magnificent Wildlife Goldmines such as South Lake, Nature Reserve and Woodland Trail are located! Water in the Mayesbrook Park North Lake seems like a teardrop-silver in colour and stand-still with occasional ripples created by waterfowl or leaves dropping from tree!
