“Another very good and comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel and also the Beefeater are lovely, friendly and creates a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with a local feeling, despite being in a heavily industrialised area. Very warm and welcoming and will stay again. The restaurant itself was closed but the bar was open and we were invited to use the bar area for ordering in a delivery, as were the other guests. It worked really well.”

“Whilst Central Park is closed for the night, this outdoor theatre comes alive. So if are travelling by car, don't forget to park in the Acacia Hall car park, and not Central Park car park as it will close before the show ends As an outdoor Theatre the overall experience depends more on the weather than the performers, but I must say I've been impressed with both. There are very nice toilets here, being so new and well equipped, but I suspect the ladies are too small for the venue, especially when filled to capacity. The stage is well lit, but it is little more than a raised platform so don't expect West End production values. As there is no seating plan, anyone with a mobility or visual disability may find it easier to arrive later and take up a front row or side position that facilitates a quick and easy exit. Also I'd recommend brining a small picnic, as there are no interval ice cream or drink options here. Best of all was the low ticket price for a high quality show.”

“We were visiting from Texas and my mother in law planned a trip here because my 7 year old son is obsessed with Birds of Prey. This was one of the most amazing experiences we had while in England and life long memories my son will have. The grounds are immaculately kept up, the birds and all animals are well taken care of. They have meerkats, pigs, goats, lambs, and huskies along with so many birds. The bird experience was amazing and watching their keepers explain in detail about each one made it incredibly fascinating. We will visit again in the future 1000%. There is a little playground on site and plenty of parking space available. Also the drive to the Eagle Heights is a breathtakingly beautiful one. Gorgeous views and it is close to a small little village like town.”

If you are ever looking for a bite, the dirty goujons or the kebab are superb and they offer a wide range of sandwiches which you can customise to your preference. “Panaramic views! Early Spring development in tree blossom, lots of walks, edged by hedgerow planting, or tiny woods, lovely for family. Very useful for dog walkers. I think we might have been passed by - by the greyhound association members! Not only can you find the local wildlife, you can name plants & name the different breed of dogs! Castle nearby, quoted at £15 per visit. Cafe, gift shop at reasonable prices, and free toilets Inc a disabled toilet which was clean.”

“Lovely little walk around the lake at the back of Bluewater. Wished I had known about it when my daughter was younger. "The very hungry caterpillar" trail to follow, answering questions along the way. Fact boards dotted about the trail with info on different wildlife around the site. Little wooden play area. Can feed the ducks/geese but signs say NO BREAD. Bird seed or defrosted peas is better. Will go again!”

“Just took the family to Pirate Cove Adventure Cove and adopted the Crafty Wizards Pre-School attitude of "yes I can!", the holes are fun, some more challenging than others! Not too far down the A2 from our pre-schools. Give it a go for a fun, outdoor, creative themed crazy golf session! The quad bikes are fun too.”

“Small but well kept, so let's keep it that way! Very picturesque pond - see my photos. Takes about 45 minutes to do a complete lap of the woods, the long way around. Free parking, but there is donation box.”

“Wendy and Keith were fantastic hosts tonight. My friend Simon was playing a gig and they couldn't have been friendlier. It's great to go into a pub and feel welcomed immediately. The locals were very friendly too and the pub had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub, especially for families as they were great with kids too. “Was going to work a bit later as I had to pick something up in Crawford, as I came into Crawford, I came to the width restriction by Green Walk? I think. Anyway there are more than enough cafés in Crayford, but there were plenty of parking spaces outside so I thought I'd give it a try. 2 fellas working, probably more people work there, dunno. Anyway that was one of the best café breakfasts I've had in a long time, and I told them so, emptied my pocket of loose change and put it in the bowl. From memory, 2 eggs, mush, plum toms, plenty of bacon, fried slice?, 2 toast, cuppa, couple of hash browns maybe more I can't remember, but friendly, obviously have regulars, polite and a nice breakfast to boot.”
