"They have a great selection of Carhartt jeans and clothing. They also carry some good pocket knifes. Although most Carhartt are not longer made in the USA, I found a pair that were..... and snatched them up....USA made are always better quality and sick of sending all my cash to other countries! Also picked up a nice little Kershaw knife (my favorite brand) that has switch-blade like action in the trigger. Best of all, the jeans were about $15 less expensive that what I paid at Fred Meyers."
"One of the better places to get work clothes. They are really good about boots and have a large selection of clothing for all seasons. A lot of there stuff is more on the side of fashion rather than function but that's not a bad thing, plus there's still a lot of options for people who actually need durable work clothes."
"Horrible. Went in looking for a work boot. Very small selection to choose from, I needed help figuring out fit for a slip on Romeo style boot and the two workers near me, a lady and a boy, would hardly answer any of my questions. They would just respond with (it’s all about your preferences). So I went with a 11 1/2 size boot. The website said the return policy was if you wear on carpet you can return it. I work in a carpeted building so I wore the boot for a couple weeks testing it out and decided it was too big, my ankle was in pain every day and my foot slipped around. So I went to return it and the lady manager looked at them with literal disgust and said, “you wore these to work didn’t you?”. I said I work in a carpeted area, but she said she can’t accept them for return or exchange and noted that “I tell everyone when they are trying on boots and before check out to get a half size smaller because the leather will stretch out, and wear only around the house.” Well I was not told that by anybody! I was neglected left to buy the wrong size because nobody wanted to help me out! And now I’m stuck with boots that hurt my ankle and feet. And since when will wearing a boot or shoe around the house for an hour test our actual work conditions? You need to hold your employees more accountable and actually help people into buying the right boots because customer satisfaction is what will keep your customers. This was my first and definitely last time ever shopping at a Work n More. Horrible selection, horrible staff."
"Great service, they left me be for a stretch and gave me enough time to orient myself. When I did have a question, it was answered promptly. As with other contractor oriented business, I would imagine the best time to shop would be in the early afternoon. There's not much here for women, which is a shame, because there should be more gals in the trades (like my wife of 33 years) and they have a hard enough time making a path for themselves without having to scrounge around for the proper gear. IMHO. Parents, consider encouraging you daughters to try out the trades, you'll find that, for those with a good aptitude can get an on the job education, earn more than their college friends, and avoid the insane debt that too many of our kids get saddled with during the most productive years of their life. She might even end up owning her own company someday! I'm just saying is all..."
"Terrible experience. We went to buy shoes and were trying on shoes for good fit. After trying just 3 pairs, overweight female employee clearly didn't want us to do so (just hand over money) and refused to let us try out shoes. She instead told us that the shoes fit and we should be done. Never experienced this in other Work 'n More stores, where an employee would tell us how comfortable shoes are on our own feet and then stop helping. I expect treatment would have been different if the color of our skin were white as, from the minute we walked in, she acted as if we had come in to steal to shoes... for work. Disgusting behavior."
