River Bend Inn

"As soon as we entered our room there was a used water bottle on the bed. Room wasn’t cleaned very well. Dust and obvious dirt wasn’t hard to find. Sheets seemed clean but you can tell they don’t do much for over all cleaning. Out of the 4 attendants only one was friendly. If you asked a question or needed help they treated you like they were bothering them. Location was great and would suggest a one night stay for a cheap overnight but anything more I would seek elsewhere."

"Check in went smoothly. When we got to our room, we noticed the bathtub was filthy. My wife cleaned it and didn’t say anything to the staff though. The remote was also sticky and really dirty. We didn’t even want to touch that. The water smelled absolutely terrible. Something is definitely wrong with their water system. We reeked of it after a shower, and brushing our teeth was appalling because of how bad it smelled. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. My wife could barely sleep while we were there. There is something wrong with the elevator as well. It made a lot of noises and it was a bumpy ride. Although we only stayed for 3 days, we never once saw housekeeping in the hotel at all for the duration of our stay. The view was good and it’s close to many activities. We recommend it only if you want a cheap place to stay. For 3 nights Saturday-Monday it was $135 in February. But we don’t recommend room 411 if this is the only room that water stinks in."

"We were pleasantly surprised with how clean the room was! We had a nice view of the river. There was plenty of parking and it was nice because there’s a light near by for easy entry/exit. We also had great interactions with staff and really enjoyed the little snack bar!"

"I would rate the hotel over all 2 out of 5. The staff was very nice. the indoor pool was small but my 8 year old loved it. The parking and location was great. The breakfast was not good at all we couldn't even make ourselves eat it. The cereal was all we could stand. We stayed 4 nights 5 days on day 1 I let the front desk know the microwave did not work. I was told they would bring another one up. They never did. The alarm clock did not work either. If you need a place to stay for one night just passing through it would be ok. Anything above that i wouldn't recommend. Also The water in the bath made you smell like chlorine and The beds are hard"

"We enjoyed our stay and were delighted to find how pleasant the room was! It was so clean, fresh, comfortable and inviting and had everything we needed. It was amazing how quiet the halls were. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent! When we return to the area, we plan to make River Bend our home base. Thanks for help making our trip a pleasant one!"
