"The room was fabulous. Wonderful pillows and comfy king sized bed. Got the one bedroom, loved the tv/fireplace combo and nice big walk in shower. Sat on the covered deck the first night and enjoyed the fire pit. Friendly staff and nice hot tub. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant connected to it though."

"Comfortable room, although it is a very dark room with all the lights on. My wife about froze me out with the room temp. The patio door doesn't seal properly so air and parkway noise were obviously more prevalent. I won't request a parkway again for that reason"

"What a great stay. Loved the view from our room with a balcony. Cayden greeted us with a smile on his face and was friendly, courteous and professional. When we had a small issue, Cayden was right on top of it. A big shout out to him. Thank you for going above and beyond to make are stay fantastic. Great location. Clean rooms. "Overall it was a great experience and great hotel. As an FYI, because a lot of people don’t seem to know the difference. This is a Holiday Inn NOT a Holiday Inn Express. There is a difference between the two hotels, even though they are apart of the same company. A Holiday Inn does NOT offer free breakfast. You must pay for breakfast. I thought the breakfast was good and well prepared. I bought our breakfast when I booked the hotel. I recommend this option for people booking ahead. At check-in they give you vouchers for each morning and you present those to the waiter when you get breakfast. My vouchers were good for 2 guests per day. It is a buffet style/self-service breakfast. We stayed in room 626, which is on the top floor and a corner unit. This room is a suite with a river view and balcony. It was clean and in good condition. They have a restaurant/bar at this location and it was wonderful. The food was great for a hotel restaurant. It exceeded my expectations. They have burgers and brats, with good appetizer options. Huge beer selection and a full bar. This hotel has a parking lot and a underground garage too. Great for anyone who has a really nice car they want to keep safe. There is bridge that leads to a footpath. This takes you to The Island. Much easier to walk than to drive there. 10/10 would stay here again."

"When we first checked in, the room smelled of smoke. The night manager switched our room immediately. Much better room. However, the rooms do not have enough lighting and it seems to be on purpose. I also had issue with flushing the toilet. The tank seemed to not refill. The management gave me a discount and points for the issues, which was very nice. The parking lot was large and well lit. The pool was nice, but a large group of kids were monopolizing the hot tub. All of the staff members were polite and helpful. Thank you very much."
