"Like the reviews say I had no towels or washcloths. There were no pool towels. The staff isn't very friendly. I didn't have a single cleaning staff come to my room to take my trash I had to take it to the trash out myself. They didn't come to my room to take my towels or offer new one's. I had no clock in my room either and it wasn't very clean. The traffic noise with a baby was horrible. I had to go buy a fan. They definitely need new options for breakfast."

"If it were possible to give negative stars, I would! First off, BED BUGS!!! I have never dealt with bed bugs in my life! After one night, I woke up at 5am with bites on both arms, more severely on my right. Shined a phone light on the side I was sleeping, and found one on my pillow. Took the pillow, threw it in the bathtub, and took pics of the bug. Woke my husband up, left, went to a laundrymat, and found us a Holiday Inn! I have called several times, stopped at the hotel on our way home, and the manager still has not contacted me. The advertising pics are deceiving! This place is ran down and dirty! I went and bought bleach spray to wipe everything down when we first arrived. We brought our own pillows and blankets. We were just going to make due. Had to ask for towels. Honestly, feel like I should do more than write bad reviews, and get my refund! Not sure if there is anything I can do legally. I may check into it. A place like this should not be open! Going to the doctor when I get home to have the bites checked out."

"The hotel was dirty and they didn’t have any towels. My son spilled his juice and I cleaned and floor was black in the room and I wiped it 3 times just to see and each time came up super dark so I don’t think they mop. The service desk lady had an attitude. And on top of that they charged me 230$ 2x and for no reason my rooms was already paid for before I got there even though at booking it said once I check in. I did get refunded but couldn’t get explanation of where the extra charge was from and 2 other customers complained of the same issue. The bed was comfy though and provided a roof over head but would not stay again."

"Read all the reviews!!! I wish I would have before coming here. I wouldn't come back here again even if the rooms were free!! My room was so disgusting. I had come down with 4 other families and we all left and went to another hotel minutes after checking in. All of our rooms were so gross. There were dirty socks and a wipe left on the floor, the curtain was broken and hanging down. There were shoe prints on our sheets that were obviously not changed from the last person who stayed. There was mold all over the bottom of our shower curtain and instead of replacing the shower curtain, you could see where they just took scissors and cut the bottom of the curtain off although there was new mold. The light switches were so dirty - the one by the bathroom looked to have blood all on it and the same with the mirror. The phone was so dirty it looked like it was in a mechanics shop all day with all the brown/black dirt. The walls were dirty. AC didn't work and the room was so hot and muggy. Yuck!! I'd rather sleep outside on the sidewalk. This hotel is in major need of a remodel!!! So gross! I'm not sure where they got their pictures on their website, but they are clearly from the day they opened years ago because they are extremely misleading. STAY AWAY! I had a few days reserved with the Gatlinburg location for another trip and canceled it right away! Looks like reviews on that location aren't any better. Do better Howard Johnson!"

"We stayed two nights in the king room with a jacuzzi. The room was very spacious and appeared to be clean. Our bed was clean and comfy and the pillows were amazing! We had to go back to the front desk after checking in to request towel as there weren’t any in our room. The floor in the room was sticky and left our feet dirty if we walked barefoot on the floor. The indoor pool was nice, it was warm and the water was clean! It did need a good dusting in there but it was still enjoyable! I was nervous to stay after reading the reviews but the price was good. The parking lot does fill up and there wasn’t a ton of parking. The breakfast wasn’t my favorite but the food didn’t seem nasty. Overall I went with low expectations with what we paid and it was a decent hotel."
