"This complex is a damn scam! I never moved here , gave them any money or anything they told me to E.sign a document to hold the apartment but I never even did a tour or moved into this place I ended up moving back to south Florida. Now I have collection agencies calling & harassing me saying I owe these ppl 3k for an apartment I never even set foot or lived in !"
"A great budget option for an apartment in a decent location. The staff were all great, especially the maintenance staff! Despite there being a monthly fee just to pay utilities, the savings compared to other options is outstanding. The building is a little dated but the management does what they can, jusy expect typical Florida problems like an occassional bug. Compared to other options, Seminole Trails had exceeded my expectations."
"I can say for the 4 by 4 , and in relative to other apartments I have lived over the years in Tally. It is a relatively affordable for service quality, 5 star for maintenance , 5 star for staffs. 5 star for pet's hospitality."
"I have lived in Seminole Trails since August 2020. Whenever we have any issues, maintenance is always so quick and timely with repairs. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have lived in Tallahassee since 2015 and this is the longest I’ve ever stayed in an apartment."
"I moved in a little over a week ago. Here’s my experience so far. On move in day I stood in line for about 45 min to get my key. Which I was totally okay with! I understand it’s busy on move in day and that im not the only one moving in. I consider myself a very patient person and understand that people are just trying to do their job. However, when it got extremely frustrating was when I tried my key and it didn’t work so I went to the office where I proceeded to wait in line for another 2.5 HOURS with about 20 other new residents who were equally frustrated. The entire time we just wanted to know when we could get into our apartments but one of the girls at the desk was just completely ignoring us and giving us an attitude when we would ask questions. As I was waiting in line I was afraid that I was going to find damage in my apartment because several people came into the office saying that happened to them. Luckily when I got my key the apartment had no damaged and I was even surprised to see I had laminate flooring and tile instead of carpet which I was really happy about. However, the place was extremely dirty. I even found a sock on the washer so it was clear nothing had been cleaned. Photos attached. So I spent about a day scrubbing my place from top to bottom but it still feels pretty gross. My appliances all work great and I feel pretty safe in my apartment. Probably my biggest complaint is cleanliness on move in day and bugs. Not tiny bugs. Not ants or gnats… I’ve been finding millipedes, giant spiders, and cockroaches almost every day! This morning there was a cockroach on my ceiling, last night one flew and hit my boyfriend in the elbow then hit me in the head and when I was showering I found one on my towel. One last thing is that there is a pile of trash out front that has been there all week and no one has done anything about it. I know it’s from people being irresponsible on move in but it makes the place look trashy. I was torn between 2 and 3 stars. If this place had been cleaned and there were no bugs I would easily give it a four. Update: Having lived here for about 7.5 months now, my rating has not gone up at all and honestly I contemplated lowering it. My boyfriends car has been broken into. And I consistently have issues with bugs. Pest control ONLY comes if you put in a maintenance request not regularly, They also won’t tell you when they’re coming so if you’re not home you don’t get pest control inside and have to wait a week. My bathroom doesn’t have a fan so the house gets really humid which causes even more bug problems as well as issues with my asthma and mold allergies. Overall, it’s not a bad place to live… but it’s not great either. If you have asthma, or indoor allergies don’t live here. Or see if they can put you in a newer unit. I’m an optimist so I’ll leave it at 3 stars for now."
