"Update as of 1/10/24: My packages are still going missing. This is becoming annoying. I just received notification that my package delivered the evening before. I went to retrieve my package from our package room and guess what, no package. So I am inconvenienced once again and have to either wait to receive a replacement or lose money. Been here so far for about 6mths. This place is so frustrating. If you're the type of person that orders out alot or receives package regularly, this place is not for you. The elevators are constantly down, they always seem to get it repaired in a timely manner but it still goes down continuously and is EXTREMELY SLOW. Luckily there are 2 elevators but it's a huge inconvenience. Packages are delivered to a room where you will sweat like no other to locate your packages which are supposed to be delivered and organized by floor which doesn't always happen so you could end up on a scavenger hunt. The package room has been breached couple of times since I've been here and packages have been stolen. So that's not great. The call box works whenever it wants to (doesn't work when raining) so if you get food delivered, you have to redirect the driver to the 2nd call box which makes them upset so they may leave your food outside or just cancel your order. This has happened to me approx 5x thus far. Food stolen twice. The staff isn't all that nice and/or helpful with the exception of Novi. She tries to help when she can. It's not a terrible place but it would not take much to make this place great."
"I visited the property a few days ago and while I am still in the shopping phase I’m almost certain I will be going through with this place. I met with Michael (highly recommend you ask for him specifically), and his energy as soon as I walked in sold me enough. The property is beautiful. I loved that it looks like the pictures online in person. You are only given 2 days to lock in a good price so it can be a bit pressuring but Michael has been sending me quotes everyday to keep me in range. I can tell this business believes in putting the consumer first. Can’t wait to call this place my home :)"
"SYNC is a property with great potential that is extremely hindered by it's staffing issues. The location is really good, parking is reasonable, and the units themselves are modern and comfortable. I opted to not renew my lease for many reasons, which I will outline. Ultimately, I cannot recommend someone to live there. We had no AC at the peak of the summer for 2 weeks. All written communication to the leasing office was ignored, and the only way to get a response was to go the the office unannounced, where I was interrupted and told how busy they were. The maintenance staff was not able to resolve my issue, and too many times I was told that they would be working on it the next day, or today, for that not to happen. The maintenance is shortstaffed, just like the rest of the property. Novi, their leasing agent, is the brightest spot in all of the management, but specifically the assistant manager of the property who handles most of the day to day, was very difficult to work with. Attitude problems, lack of communication, and lack of professionalism plague this department and make ANY issue that you may have longer, more arduous, and painful than it needs to be. If there is a change of staff, or additions to the staff so the workers there are not stretched so thin, then I think the property itself has potential. The majority of our stay was fine, until the maintenance issues and other things came, which largely outweigh whatever positive experience we had. So it's up to you if it's worth it. It's a big risk because if something does go wrong, it will not be handled well, your attempts at communication will be ignored, and you will be given false expectations, and you will become extremely frustrated, as we were. We attempted to seek a rent concession as a result of all the trouble (which lasted for 3 months), but we were offered peanuts with the condition that we legally cannot express any negative ideas about SYNC. I did not accept that, so here I am, trying to inform you, the person considering living here. Nice property - staffing makes it not worth a second thought."
"Trigger Warning : near-death experience. In the middle of sleeping at 2:18 in early morning, my fire alarm was frantically going off owing to fire and smoke all the way from furnace. Before I see the actual fire in my home, I have been pretty much claimed to the leasing office and maintenance department concerning furnace issue and fundamental heating error at the same time. Yes, they have answered, but nothing has been practically changed whenever I got home from work. They got me end up in sleep under frosty air without heating system every single day until I see near death-experience. I have attached photos the moment after fire. What I have seen in the night was tons of chemical-included smoke and couldn’t breathe and constantly coughed owing to obnoxious gas-like smoke. As you can clearly see those, these are accurately seen of irresponsibility and the result of being procrastinated from genuine and preliminary maintenance requests of residents.. If the fire alarm was not working well, I would have been already died without any attempt to survive. —————————————————————————— This is new update on Dec 20, Staffs who work for leasing office have been nonchalantly ignoring my email."
"I wish that there was a way that I could give a fraction of a star grading for what we have experienced in the last view months. Hands down the most upsetting living experience that I have ever had. The smell of the hot garbage I will never forget long after we move out of this place. We have spent numerous occasions at a hotel because our A/C not working, cockroach infestations from the “VALET” trash service that they provide that is sold as a luxury but the contracted company never picks it up so you have to walk through a hallway FULL of stinking trash everyday. Also I have made no less than 30 maintenance requests for the same three issues. They mark it as fixed whether anyone even checks it out or not. The neglect in this apartment complex is unrivaled, I wish that I could speak with whoever is in charge of this operation beyond the on site staff. They are very nice people, but that is about the only upside to this disaster of a complex. We were SO excited to move in here, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. Absolute waste of money"
