"The apartments are horrible My daughter has been living there almost a year and she has made several complaints. They never respond to emails like they should when they do respond they tell lies. They stated that they completed an ordered that my daughter put in for they never did because she was at home the day they stated they completed the order I was there with her as well. The grounds are very unkept maintenance hardly ever come out and f. anything mold is in my and she's been complaining about that for about the past few months and they won't do anything they're not gonna be happy until they get a lawsuit and it's very sad that this is the case with most apartments in the Georgia area but these apartments should be ashamed the office staff is terrible, except for maybe 1 but they gonna harass you about their rent money, knowing they're not even fixing anything that needs to be fixed. I don't recommend nobody stay at these apartments. I'll be glad when my daughter lease up so she can leave and find something better because they care nothing about their residence and their residence well-being and I don't have to live there to leave a review. I see the foolishness with my daughter being a resident there and it's terrible and it's sad how they treat their residents. There's no care or concern about the people that is renting from that horrible trashy apartment complex. I would give them a zero if I was able to. Pictures will soon follow this review"

"This is by far the worst apt community I’ve ever lived in in my life. I’ve never regretted moving anywhere like I have moving here. The apartments are old, of lesser quality & just all around falling apart. Please don’t fall into the trap of moving here. Maintenance is nice, however, they will not come in for a work order until many months down the line. Big or small. They’ve come to my unit before about a previous resident’s work order that used to live in my apt and I’ve been here almost a year. That’s how backed up they can be. The staff can appear kind in person, however, when it comes to addressing any sort of real issue, they are completely unresponsive. Trying to get someone to answer the phone for the most part is absolutely non-existent. You’ll eventually stop trying and just can’t wait until your lease is up. The rent appears “low” for the area you’re in, but the utilities are extremely & unusually high, the issues you’ll deal with here is not worth even this rent amount. Once they get you to sign your lease, you are truly on your own from there. I was not able to see my apt until the day of move-in and I moved here from a few hours away. I’d schedule w/ them to come see my actual apt before move-in & when I’d drive all the way there, no one would be in the office or they’d tell me to come back like I didn’t just drive hours there and they could’ve just called me ahead to reschedule before I made hours of a drive. Once I’d come back, the office door would be locked. And I’d have to drive all the way back home with no answers. This was the beginning of my frustration. Mind you, I had already paid security deposits, admin fees, etc. My move-in date kept being pushed again & again on multiple occasions because it “wasn’t ready” & there was always a different explanation why & communication was inconsistent. That was my first red flag. Once I seen my apt on the day of move-in, it was a nightmare and nothing like the model which I have the same floor plan as and was told that my apt would be no difference. I instantly regretted my choice. Everything was just old, falling apart, and unclean compared to the model. Mildew everywhere. Things rotten and falling apart as if the apts flood consistently. Bug infestations. I’ve never seen pest control. By that time, my move in date kept getting pushed where I had no choice but to move given the circumstances. The issues originally addressed, still have yet to be dealt with many months later. They will literally only contact you if you’re late on rent. Literally. That is the only time I’ve experienced any type of phone call or consistency with their communication. Even when you don’t have a track record of being late. They’ll ignore any other requests you have & fail to offer solutions to literally anything else or even respond. The corporate is also unresponsive & they don’t care. I’ve only seen them respond back to any sort of issue underneath these reviews which appears for show in my opinion. Almost every surrounding neighbor you actually speak with in person has major issues going on with their apt and says the same thing. Whether it’s flooding, serious bug infestations, mold, ceilings preparing to fall through, people injuring themselves because the property has many hazards, etc. I can go on. Please listen to the reviews and kindly don’t do this to yourself."

"Settling into my new place was already challenging, but things took a turn for the worse after I moved in. There were numerous problems with the apartment, and I was compelled to place repair orders myself as the maintenance team was not informed as promised. Seven months have passed, and several repair requests remain unattended despite my repeated attempts to flag them and their status being marked as 'in progress.' This is perplexing because if a task is in progress, it should receive active attention. The slow pace of repairs contrasts sharply with the expectation for timely rent payment. This property is one of the most disappointing I've encountered. Every visit to the office is met with excuses about backlog or delays. To add to the frustration, I was informed that a system error had closed maintenance and tickets when I phoned them. I was aware of this, but it's ironic how the rent is still expected on time with extremely delayed fixes; I’m talking months. My patience with this place is already thin. The entrance gate is perpetually malfunctioning. My washing machine hasn't been functional since July, adding to the inconvenience since there is no communal laundry facility. Consequently, the cost of washing clothing is an additional burden on top of the already poor maintenance service. It seems the office staff is deliberately overlooking the issues, and Birge & Held comes across as a horrendous company to lease from."

"This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had renting an apartment. The apartment has so many issues, and they do nothing to fix them. Anytime you put in a work order, it takes weeks before they look into the issue. You can never get in touch with anyone in the office. The phone constantly goes to voicemail, and they never call back. The outside of the buildings are not clean at all. They only clean the buildings in the front. I could go on and on about the issues with this community. I would not recommend renting here."
