"I have never ever written any review on anything my entire life neither good or bad . But everything has a starting point .You are good in this place until you have no maintenance issue in the apartment but that is not the case in here , usually the maintenance take a long time to respond after a complaint more than 2 week to even look into the issue we have no problem waiting if it’s going to get fixed even after 2 weeks because they have made us used to these type of time delay here in this apartment in beginning it was shocking and frustrating but now we are used to 2 or even 3 weeks delay for the maintenance The problem now is they are just seeing how long we can hold our disappointment . The dishwasher stopped working on starting of November 2023 after raising formal complaint we know the usual time for response will take more than 3 week as we expected and it did and they told us the dishwasher has to be replaced and they will place an order and wait for the product to be arrived and told a time of 2 weeks and we know it will take longer than they told , after multiple walks to leasing office finally we got a call from the office that they will fix the dishwasher in the 1st week of January 2024 after that everything got silent when we asked about it they said the request has been closed even without fixing it and they reopened it again as of now we are going to the leasing office at least 2times weekly and the reasons are they are telling us is we don’t know . I don’t understand how they don’t know or even have any type of answer when will the dishwasher arrives as of feb 6 2024 the complaint have not been rectified . We have been living in different apartments for close to 10 yrs we have never faced this type of problem anywhere else . having 2 kids under 10 and I don’t have to tell about the need of the dishwasher ."
"Trey was great through the process and very helpful. The apartment is very nice and quiet. There is a nice gym if you into working out. Everything you need from grocery, restaurants, hospital and pharmacy are within a few miles."
"As many of the other reviews you will read, if the option on zero or negative stars was an option its the only one that is fitting. BELIEVE EVERYTHING!!! If it is about management, maintenance, billing, property up keep, pest, and overall health concerns it is the absolute truth. I moved in 10/30/23 and this has been a nightmare. I applied and was slotted for unit in the 47 building it was not going to be ready by the time gave me and so I was moved to a different unit in the 49 building. I was shown the unit and told at the time it was “move-in ready”. It was not I told the agent then and there the issues that needed to be addressed and was assured they would be completed on my move-in day. On my move-in day everything was the same and upon deeper inspection there were several issues with unit, rust on the toilet, dead roaches, the entire unit was filthy, mold in the bedroom, issues with the dry wall, falling cabinets non-functional range ( which took them a week to replace, and during which they unplugged the microwave whose plug is in a high cabinet above the range so for a week I had no way to prepare meals ). I have had an uncontrollable roach problem in this unit since I moved in , I have had to constantly ensure I am slotted for weekly pest control , after weeks of no improvement I asked the Office manager C.J. if the whole building was be treated it was not and I was told there weren’t other complaints…as if that is how a roach infestation works. It took several weeks for the building to be treated and not all of the units were. I stated experiencing roaches coming out of the wall in my shower and upon inspection the entire shower and pouring boric acid on it in an attempt to battle the legend of my unauthorized roommates the roaches I discovered holes, cracks and gaps and probably the source of all the roaches as behind the shower is dark and damp a haven for roaches. I informed the office, they offered a unit switch after 3 months ( which I attempted to get 3 weeks in and was denied) and told to go look myself online for another unit to move to by the Office manager. I inquired to why I was being told to do her job and how I would be able to trust their website when the unit I was originally supposed to move into was still on the site but still occupied and there lack of follow up and issue resolution was further causing issues for me, I also asked about the financial burden of having to move again because of there failure in proper property management, of course this was met on deaf ears . After several more emails and sending pictures of the shower G.M the assistant manager sends me a random vague email at 8:55 pm to let know a vendor would be out to “fix” my shower. I have a unit with 1 bathroom and was given zero detail of a course of action…their big fix with the vendor was a man coming and caulking over the holes , gaps, and cracks I told the vendor that doesn’t get rid of the infestation and roaches eat caulk…he just said that was what the leasing office instructed. Do not move here, do not waste your time or money. There is only sadness, filthy, and gross incompetence at GlenLake."
"When I moved in, the apartment was not ready, many walls had to be painted, the sink was leaking water, there were still things to be repaired. Place a work order and wait weeks for them to be repaired, some place them “completed” when they have not been through the apartment. You have to follow up because otherwise they don't appear. A branch fell from the trees, due to the storm, it almost fell on my mother and I let them know so they could do an inspection of the trees for the safety of the community and they did not take it into account. Living here before was quite pleasant but with time and the new administration that has deteriorated. The buildings are dirty, and there is no cleaning of stairs. And not to mention the apartments... “remodeled” is just changing lamps or the kitchen. After having problems in the bathroom for a long time they tell you “oh yeah, we've had that problem for a long time, sorry we didn't mention it to you before you moved in.”"
"Very disappointed in this community management team. I have lived here not even 2 months and have encountered problem after problem from day 1. On my move in day, an hour before I was to pick up my keys, I was called and told the unit had not been painted yet and I needed to wait. Following move in, I had to place a work order list at least 15 requests long because the apartment was NOT move in ready. Mold, missing handles and shelves, broken ice machine, dishwasher falling out of the wall, toilets with leaks, just to name a few. Now for the past month I have been dealing with a leak from the upstairs unit affecting my master shower. The ceiling and wall was removed, an industrial fan and dehumidifier placed in the unit, and no update on when the leak would be fixed. Several days later I ask for compensation on the power bill and instead of saying yes, they REMOVED the fan and dehumidifier and have let the leak continue for 3 MORE WEEKS. Every week there’s different vendors and maintenance workers in my unit- twice they have sent someone to fix the drywall but not the actual leak and I have to turn the vendor away. I have called, emailed, and appeared in person several times- letting them know i am 8 months pregnant and this is someone’s SHOWER water leaking into my bathroom, soaking the wood and creating more MOLD. Would not recommend this complex by any means."
