"This is the first time I’d ever been catfished - and it was by a business. The pictures of this place make it look gorgeous, inviting, clean & a great place to stay. Pictures are deceiving!! The woman at the front desk was the ONLY good thing about this place. She was friendly and attentive. We were given a ground floor room at first. It was like stepping back in time! My fiancé literally cried as the realization of the mistake we made settled in. There was a jacuzzi in the middle of the room that looked as if they had glued pieces together and it hadn’t been cleaned since 1995. The bed sheets were stained - and not JUST stained but tie-dyed with dirt and body fluids. The bed had 2 pillows and the sheet had cigarette burns in it. The latch on the door was completely missing! Not even broken but MISSING! We called the front desk - and the woman working changed our room to another room in a different section of the place. When we opened the door, the smell of Indian food that had been basking in the heat for what smelled like 4 months slapped us in the face like Will Smith did to Chris Rock. The room was dirty and the sheets looked as if someone either broke in and took a nap, or staff needed to take breather. I wouldn’t stay here if I was paid to. The only nice thing about this place was the staff at the front desk. We spent less than 15 minutes here before realizing we were catfished. Thank goodness we were able to find another reputable hotel nearby - or we would have been driving through the night to go back home. This place needs MAJOR renovations and a sterilization from top to bottom. Location is great - but it looks like it could serve as the set for a scary movie or documentary."
"Last minute stay, booked through Priceline, $50 for one night. All the wife and I were hoping for was a clean place to lay our heads. Basic room, no extras, room seemed a little dated couod use a fresh coat of paint, but room was clean. Many people may not agree with me, however I base my reviews off what I got for how much I paid. For what we paid we were verry happy with our one night stay."
"Stayed here 2 days after Christmas. This place had high rating when I booked it. Boy was it deceiving. Room was dirty, tub and bathroom was nasty, floors were black and needed to be mopped. 1st night slept with no heat at 30 degree temps because heater screamed moved to next floor and no hair dryer no coffee maker. Ask for towels had to go get them. Will not stay here again."
"For what is in the heart of pigeon forge I expected a shanty hotel to be somewhat decent. They advertised coffee maker in room, but they don’t have one in room just at the front. They advertised “pet friendly $20 but more if larger animal” so that ended up being $25 per pet per night. They advertised “100% smoke free rooms” and our a/c unit is pouring out cigarette smoke smells. Keep your shoes on, the floors are disgusting. The room we stayed in wasn’t carpeted, some kind of laminate. There were stains under the bed that they didn’t clean, the floor trim was disgusting and covered in black dust and grime. The caulking around sink and in showers is black. Keep in mind mini-fridge has no freezer. The sheets/pillows barely looked clean. There is no room service so you have to go to the front to ask for towels etc. Overall if I had known what to expect maybe I wouldn’t have been so shocked and grossed out when we got here."
"I booked a king room here. And it was very tiny. Just enough room to walk around. Only one night stand. There was a hole in the wall, the headboard had been cut and the exhaust fan was coming out of the ceiling. Shower curtain looked like a cat had gotten ahold of it. The room had a very bad odor in it. The upside was the showers water pressure was great. The room phone didn’t work either. You could call out, but the person on the other end couldn’t hear you. The hotel itself is not in a bad location. Up a hill across from Hard Rock Cafe. Not a lot of parking available. And the parking lot is tight when it’s full if you have a big vehicle. It wasn’t as quiet as I had hoped for. I had some very rowdy neighbors that were smoking marijuana outside. Front office told me it was ok that they did that. They were in and out all night slamming their room door, constantly opening and shutting their vehicle doors. I ended up leaving a day earlier than planned because I hadn’t slept much and was tired of the noise."
