"Notice how most of the good reviews are from people who haven't lived at the apartments yet. Do not trust them. They're nice at first, but once you moved out, be prepared to get scammed for things they promised to take care of but didn't. I will never in my life recommend this apartment complex. Going to agree with the overpriced rip-off. I got my catalytic converter stolen, and all I was told was to call the police. Expect to pay for any little inconvenience. And when your lease ends, your rent goes up 2x. The neighborhood is filled with loud kids that run out in front of your car, people getting into fights, and loud fireworks unexpectedly at 3am. The police are always here and the entrance is a nightmare to enter and exit from. The apartment only wants your money. It was the cheapest option I could afford at the time. But I would recommend looking somewhere else."

"I’m looking to relocate from Delaware to the Charlotte area. I stopped by just to check the place out{walk in} and the lady at the front I think her name was Paula was such a pleasant employee. She was very accommodating and explained the amenities throughly. And also the pricing. I loved the entertainment room that can be used by residents and also the fact the pool stays open all year round. The gym was also great as well. I just did a Quick Look at the sample and I liked the layout. I’m still searching however I will keep Halton Park on my list."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could give negative stars, I would. After a stressful year renting with them due to many, many, many sketchy events that took place and were not resolved, we decided to leave. Upon leaving, they tried scamming us into paying for THEIR 4 year carpet replacement plan instead of simply using my deposit to clean the carpets. I received the remainder of my security deposit back, but received a $1200 bill to cover the carpet replacements. THIS PLACE IS SKETCHY AND A HUGE SCAM. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"The leasing agents are super nice and the apartments themselves are very nice but you will never get approved to rent here. They deny everyone and it almost feels purposefully so they can keep your application fee. Why else would they keep dropping the rent but denying applicants?"
