"I moved in 12/2020 and HAPPILY moved out 11/2023. If you pay rent late they try to make you pay what's due + late fees + next month rent, which is illegal per NC statutes. Even after my attorney and my neighbors attorney called the apartment manager and told him, he still did it to others. There's no telling how many people were illegally evicted due to this. They add in illegal fees and if you ask for an itemized statement of fees they tell you they can't show it to you because other tenants info is also on the paper lol. The office staff is RUDE when they're actually there. Office is closed most of the time, but don't worry if your rent is late because they were closed they will still charge the late fee. The apartments are RAGGEDY, no updating at all yet they keep raising rent. I was promised there was security... there's not. My apartment was broken into twice and my car was broken into once. Numerous packages were stolen from my doorstep. I work from home, as did several people in my building. We've all complained about the internet connection causing us not to be able to work. Spectrum said they need to fix the lines, but needed apartment manager okay to do so. Apartment manager lied and said he did okay it, Spectrum said it was declined. The apartments and the grounds are INFESTED WITH ROACHES. You can literally see them on the sidewalks and common areas every night. There's been 2 building fires since I lived there. The second comes with a ton of code violations on Amber Lake and their negligence. I would avoid this place at all cost. Owners are money hungry and these aren't worth the price I was paying in 2020, much less what they charge now. Nothing is updated, no real amenities, no security, trash is always overflowing, roaches everywhere... run from this place, so many better options are out there."

"We’ve been here since 2019 and haven’t had any problems. The office staff are very nice, and helpful. Maintenance is great, and tries to handle all issues in a timely manner. Overall my family and I have enjoyed our time here. I wanted to add that Maynor is the best. He is always timely and goes above and beyond to get the job completed!!!"

"I moved to Amber Lake Apartments in January of 2020 and am really pleased and comfortable living here. The layout of the apartment is perfect for my needs. Except for the droppings that the geese leave on the walkway leading up to my apartment, the maintenance team does an excellent job of maintaining the grounds. I definitely want to commend and say a big thank you to the ladies (Marta and Rebecca) for always providing me with great service when I visit the office. They make sure to take care of any issues that I bring to their attention in a prompt and professional manner. I am a senior citizen and whenever I go to the office, they are attentive and listen to all my concerns with a great deal of patience and concern."

"I don't even know where to begin, but I moved in March 2018. I was ready to move out yesterday. If you Google the apartment complex, you might come across a 3D-picture tour. The apartment they used just happens to be mine, though I'm confused. I have proof, pictures that I took of the apartment, when I first moved in, and I guarantee they look completely different. In the tour, everything seems perfect. Don't fall for it. The apartment starts falling apart the moment you move in. There are just so many problems to list, it would exceed the character limit. Let's put it this way... They (office and maintenance) have no respect and they take too long to do anything. They only care about taking money from you. I wouldn't trust them if I were you."

"Eagles Walk isn't a terrible place to live. It's easy to get accepted into the complex as far as if your credit isn't the best, or if you have a prior eviction. There is a bug/roach problem inside the apartments during the warmer months (the first floor apartments get affected the worse)but I assume it's because of the lake in the back of the apartments. During the warm months the property is flooded with families of geese and their poop everywhere. Terrible. The grounds can get pretty messy with garbage, but maintenance is pretty timely with keeping it clean. Maintenance requests are handled in a pretty adequate time frame. Nothing too bad about the place. It's on the cheaper side because no utilities are included. So water, gas (hot water) and of course electricity are billed separately from rent. Management had changed over the 1 year that I've been living here. We only have 1 guy in the office now who actually is a better property consultant than the ones who left. Overall not a bad place. Not the best place either. You also will here sirens almost every night because of the fire department on the next street. Also... the lake makes weird and almost eerie noises at night. Lake is also pretty dirty; brown and trash borders it. But location is great.. convenient to 3 Walmarts, pharmacy's and fast food right up the street."
