"DO NOT LIVE HERE. It is not worth it. Everyone associated with this property company is incompetent. Your car will get broken in to, your guests cars will get booted for no reason, there will be a random homeless man standing outside your front door and no one will do anything about it. Everyone in the front office works there for about two months before they disappear and get replaced by someone who somehow knows even less information. It was not quiet for a second the entire year I lived here. There are better options. Trust me go find one."
"We recently moved back to this property because the maintenance team where we moved to have 5 people. They NEVER FINISHED ANYTHING. The maintenance man here at City Grand is 1 man team and outshines a group of five. He’s amazing and super kind. The leasing staff is a headache."
"Tony smith, maintenance, MAA City Grand is a very nice person, always Pleasant. He gives good advice too! excellent worker!"
"If I could give this complex ZERO stars, I would. Yes, this complex is on the more cost efficient side but if you care about your sanity DONT MOVE HERE. The staff does not care about the type of customer service they give to their tenants. I live here with my husband and now 1yr old. Our apartment has been shot into, the company MAA and the leasing office did not care. They didn’t offer accommodations until things were settled in our apartment. Thank God no one was hurt. They allow vendors into our apartment without consent. The pool is raggedy. The least they can do is get it cleaned and/or fix it up a bit. This complex advertises Luxury and upgraded units but don’t get scammed because there is nothing luxury about this complex nor are there any upgrades. We’ve had numerous maintenance orders from the time we’ve moved in until now (2yrs). The maintenance man is very nice and that’s the only good thing i can say. He does the best he can with the little MAA provides. Pleas find another property to stay at, don’t stay at this property or any other MAA properties for that matter otherwise you’ll truly regret it. We are counting down the days till we can leave this place."
"The complex used to be very clean, quiet, and diversified. It has changed significantly over the last few years. We are wondering if it is due to the light rail opening in the area or if the new residents are just not being vetted/screened. There have been several car break-ins, gunshots heard in the complex, and loud music from resident vehicles at night. The car wash/vacuum does not work properly. In some of the buildings, tenants are dropping and leaving trash and loitering in the breezeways; in some buildings, the patios are used as storage units. On several occasions we have noticed some of the tenants with dogs are not cleaning up after their pets and not using the dog park. Meanwhile, the rents are increasing significantly! On a positive note, the current leasing office personnel and maintenance staff is 2nd to none and very professional!"
