"I was super excited to move in here today and upon arrival no one was there to greet me but that wasn’t even the worst part. There were ROACHES all over the apartment. They were both big a small and obviously the sign of an infestation. I never saw any while touring and when I finally got the door open they were everywhere. Not to mention any “issue” was simply covered up with paint. Highly disappointed in this complex. The only positive I have experienced so far was Omar. He has been amazing! UPDATE: It has been almost a month since I refused to move in here and have yet to receive my refund. Everyone gives me different dates and times, and no one can tell me for sure when I will receive my refund. It is giving CORRUPT! I have been patient and understanding, but this is getting ridiculous."
"I been here for just about 2 months now and I’m absolutely fed up. This is the only complex I know who will come in BREAK YOUR STUFF and then not respond when it’s time to fix it. I’ve had a major hole in my wall for about a month now and water spots on my ceiling because they wrongly concluded that we were causing a leak. This was a month ago and either have been fixed. I’ve called hundreds of times (they never answer the phone) and I’ve been to the rent office and the only response I get is “they’ll be there to fix it tomorrow” we’ll it’s been a month so which tomorrow is it!?!?!? In addition to this any maintenance request you expect to be answered will not be AT ALL. I also have not had access to my apartment via Smart Rent and I moved in back in June. It makes no sense that I have to call my roommate every time I need the door unlocked. I also don’t have access to none of the pool or gym amenities for the same reason. And just like everything else they’ll tell you their working on it and will never get back to you. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY SORRY, won’t answer the phone, rent office is never any help, Jackie is very rude every time I come in. I can’t even have friends and family come over because I’m EMBARRASSED by the look of my living space and it’s not even my fault. However, from the other reviews it seems I’m not the only one. Someone needs to fix this because it’s a sure fire way to lose residents."
"The staff that was there when my dad first moved in was wonderful now with this new staff. They have all these additional costs with statement fees charging people for compact trash all these unnecessary fees Pest Control when we requested for him to have the pest control every month he still does not get it, but he has to pay for it every month and can't even get it makes no sense every month the rent is going up and up and up with all these amenity fees and underlying fees that was not even mentioned in the beginning I'm currently looking for new living quarters for my father hoping to not have to renew his lease here."
"I applied in July for a September move in date I was nervous transitioning from my previous rental to this beautiful gated community. Omar was my go to for EVERYTHING from start to finish he made sure I was taken care of ! My unit needs some minor work but I know for sure he’s going to hold it down ( I was so anxious to move I didn’t want to wait ) I moved in on a Saturday he had 10 people waiting on him while assisting me and he did not crack under pressure he handled everyone like they were the only one! He greeted everyone with smiles and remained professional. Great customer service and beyond courteous. Australia is great as well she took me on my tour she’s so down to earth and professional we had a great time. I want them both to be my cousins lol I don’t have much family down here so to meet great genuine people like them is everything to me."
"I’ve lived at Elan since January and have had a heart experience. The staff have been wonderful and easy to work with. The Maintenance team has been top notch. My family have loved the amenities including the pool and access to the Greenway Trails. The apartment itself is great and I love the large balcony big enough for a table and chairs, my hammock on a stand, and plenty of room to move around."
