"Response to Poplar Grove Apartments -- PLEASE answer question #1: 1) Does your apartment complex company not follow federal guidelines for people with disabilities? My 'animal' is a psychiatric service dog and under federal law he is protected, i.e., allowed to go anywhere that I go. 2) How do you recommend a person controls someone else's bladder&bowel movement needs? 3) If your top priority is keeping the area safe and clean then I recommend you start by picking up all the empty bottles, cigarette butts, broken glass, etc., and installing security cameras and/or hiring a security guard to monitor all the illicit drug deals that take place on 'your property'. Staff is very rude and does not have any compassion for animals; even service dogs. We were asked to leave property. PS we always pick up after our dog."
"My parents reside at poplar grove and have been for almost 3 years. I have been so impressed and pleased with the attention that the property managers and everyone in the leasing office gives to not only my parents but all the residents and the complex. They are so easy to talk to, attentive, prompt and genuine. The area of always clean and safe. I have been very impressed even for their bdays they get a birthday card personalized."

"U know that"
"Management very difficult to work with after moving in hete. They don't like to fix thingd.if you are older & disabled you might have issues with the cramped layout of my theappartments. Other residents are very nice. The management issues regarrding FULL SIZED SERVICE DOGS but they don't maintain rules about the dds small seemingly vicious "ANKLE BITERS & CONSTANTLY BARKING DOGS" . The doors to the building are real heavy & hard to openm. They can hurt you as you go in and out of the building. The outings they try to provide are not open to people neefi m g wheel chair assistance. They use cheap paint that washes right off when you try to remove finger prints or ct ooking splatter. When you call the actual Salvation Army to complain you are told to talk to management at the apartment's. What good does this do you when the mangers is the problem? Location is great for getting around town and the actu as l coast for each unit varies according to your income. All residents are over 62 years old."
