"Good building, horrible management. The following has been my experience: 1. Promised initial free rent for 1 month but they never paid. I had to follow up for 6 months during which they refused to honor their agreement. 2. Overcharged my parking fees, refused to provide a refund, currently taking legal action on this, they seems to not care if they get sued. 3. Rent increase of about 20% every single year since 2020. 4. Building smells like weed and is not cleaned well, I literally had puke outside my apartment one time. I am moving out this year with the final rent increase as there are much better buildings/deals in this city than Ascent, keep searching!"

"I'm typically not one to leave a review, but I absolutely had to after my experience. Being in a new city can be scary and looking for a place to live in an unfamiliar place is very overwhelming- however, touring Ascent Uptown made me feel so at ease. I took a tour with Kevin and he was so knowledgeable of the building and the area- trust me, I asked many questions lol and he answered them all. He was very patient with me, and did not make me feel rushed- which is rare these days! Overall a wonderful experience with great customer service."

"While I’m not a resident here I I’ve been coming to the Ascent for over 2 years to teach yoga here. I’ve seen the property improve in various ways over the years. Not just your usual updates like more resident events but also updating common spaces and really making them more elevated. The best thing about the Ascent is their concierge Hutch. Hutch knows everyone by name, is always so pleasant and really keeps this place running like a well oiled machine. There have been other good concierges before but Hutch really elevates the services and ambiance of the Ascent making it really feel like a luxury high end living space it should a true doorman/concierge like in New York City. There are hardly ever packages waiting to be put where they belong and he runs a tight ship not letting anyone access any part of the building they shouldn’t be in, I SWEAR HE KNOWS WHICH FLOOR EVERYONE LIVES IN. Hutch really is an asset to the building and is a lovely person to speak with on my weekly visits here. If you’re looking to move into a place with nice amenities and phenomenal service this is the place!"

"Moved in here three months ago and so far have been mostly loving our experience here! There are a few minor things that I wish were different such as the fan in the bathroom coming on when you turn the light on as it's incredibly loud in the middle of the night and unnecessary most of the time. We also had a issue when we first moved in where the freight elevator broke and caused our move to take double the time, costing us double because our movers were paid by the hour. It also caused a back up on the elevators for the rest of the residents as there was only one to use while we used one and one broken. It's mostly incredibly quiet and you can't hear any outside noises except when a fire truck goes by or if someone is revving their engine super obnoxiously. But we're in the city center. City sounds are to be expected. It's truly relatively quiet. But honestly most things are livable with and this has been the best decision to move here. Concierge is literally the best. Bryce at leasing is so kind and helpful! The building is kept incredibly well cleaned thanks to a hard working team of cleaners who I see nearly every morning when I'm taking my dog outside. I'm so glad my fiance and I made the choice to move here. It's been a great experience for us overall. Edit: after two years we are moving out due to cost of living being too high but I want to give a specific shout out to Hutch who's been literally the best person at the concierge desk. He's so kind and always brings a smile to my face when we chat. I'll miss him!"

"This is an AMAZING community overall. 3 years here and no plans to leave. The leasing staff is top notch. Mr. Able & Ms. Sharp are friendly, thorough, and always go above and beyond. They take complaints serious and work hard to resolve them. The staff stays on top of maintenance issues which in 3 years, Ive only contacted maintenance once. If you want a top notch community with top notch staff. The Ascent is where to be. Location Location Location."
