"I have no one else to blame but Asset Living for the terrible conditions of this neighborhood. When I moved here 4 years ago, it was beautiful. A dream come true, the gated community was actually gated, maintained grounds and friendly staff in the leasing office. Then Asset Living took over and boy have things gone DOWNHILL, no amenities, no security, they claim to have hired onsite security to replace the gates but there have been multiple car break ins since and no one is willing to assist you. They say “contact the office directly with issues “ but no one can be bothered to answer the phone or even call back. They keep raising the rent without any notice or reasoning. This is now the GHETTO. Homeless people camping out by the back gate, trash overflowing, rude staffing. I could go on for days. The property is always so dirty and slummed out. I don’t even bother having visitors anymore as it is an eyesore in this beautiful city. The only good thing I can say about this place now is the maintenance crew, there are only about 3/4 of them and they do the best they can for so many units. Some are approachable & kind. Also Marilyn is a kind woman, but everyone else is rude and condescending to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone which sucks because I use to love living here. Also when I moved here I signed a lease for a one bedroom OUTDATED apartment for $1,054. Now my rent is almost $1,300 and it is still OUTDATED (white appliances)."
"I’ve come to 8825 to visit and I noticed how much garbage is left around the units. Garbage on top of the bushes, in the walkway and by the apartment doors. Also as someone mentioned, the dumpsters are horrible with garbage overflowing. I strongly recommended to the tenant to move out as this is not somewhere I would want to have visitors coming. And let’s not speak of what the rent cost."
"The new management here is absolutely atrocious. This is what the trash receptacle has looked like for the past month and it just keeps getting worse. As someone else mentioned, the gates NEVER work. It’s a joke. I’ve had a water stain from a leak in the kitchen above me on my ceiling for months. I’m still waiting for that to be fixed. The portal for paying utilities is never correct. One month it says I owe $2000 the next month they owe me $1000. Not sure if it’s an issue with the site itself, but if I had to guess it’s probably because it’s because of how disorganized the office is. They continue hiking up prices. I extended my lease and now I truly regret it because ever since the new management has taken over, this apartment complex has gone downhill fast. It’s the GHETTO which is ridiculous when I’m paying almost $2k a month. Do NOT move here. It’s embarrassing how bad this place is run."
"This place and the management team is horrible. Avoid at all costs. A neighbor got an eviction notice for being a day past the 5 day grace period but they let others owing 10-20k get a notice 6 months later. What a joke. Plus they bribed people to leave a review for a chance at free rent, YET never announced any winner. So don't believe any of the "good reviews." Your car will likely get broken into or stolen if a kia or Hyundai, trashy complex always dirty, sirens all day/night and the management sucks and do not provide any communication before trying to file an eviction. The amount of empty apartments here speaks volumes. Consider yourself warned."
"My Mom and I have been living here for 18 years now. The reason why, Mom and I like the convenience to the places we need to get to: the grocery store, the pharmacy, the hair & nail salons, etc. They are within walking distance for us. The complex is very slowly returning to the level of excellence to where it was when we first moved here. Since the new management is making a noticeable effort, my Mom and I can now give Stone Ridge a rating of 3, just keep going in the right direction and perhaps soon the score will be higher."
