"Amber showed us around and she was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The apartment we viewed looked great and we loved the layout. The amenities were fantastic and it seems like a great place tp live. We felt at home already which is a great way to feel when looking for a new place."
""Upscale... " A very deceiving buzz word use for this property. Please read... I have been living here for 13 years, and recently decided to leave for the reasons below.. Reading the review responses from staff are disappointing as I don't feel they're being honest or truly care; it feels very false, and I can attest to that being here so long. Communication has been so poor; somewhat startling when I look back at when Greystar owned the property that was once beautifully maintained. Garbage and pet waste everywhere, broken and exposed drip lines with non-functioning sprinklers; dead grass, major safety issues, theft, break-ins, you name it. I couldn't even use my own pool because so many residents would bring in outsiders and would prop the pool open and wouldn't even have space to enjoy. They used to clean the halls every day, and now there are roaches, trash, trash left in bins in the hallways, stained carpets, etc.. I fail to see the office staff (I don't mean maintenance) look the property over daily as I used to see when the property was owned by another great company. Every time I asked for correspondence with a concern, I got nothing-- so when you write a review and get a loving response, it is temporary appeasement. I have been faithful, prompt, respectful and caring on this property for many years to hear such disingenuous responses that do not reflect what my experience has been. "Market Value" has been the buzz for this property when rent was raised, yet the value, care and safety has been sub-par. Moving up to the Birkdale area with a comparable rate has made me frown at their claims of new appliances, market value, etc. I've already paid for all of them two-fold with my rent increase, but NOTHING reflects the current market in the immediate area (Northlake) that has been going downhill. I'm sad that my neighbors had cars broken into multiple times with property claims of security that have been non-existent. I have cameras that show no security or staff presence. I reported parking lights out three years ago, only to have them finally changed recently, this after one of my neighbors had her car broken into 3 times within a two-month period. I have no reason to falsify this information as you will find out from my neighbors what they've been going through. I would have stayed if they truly addressed the many concerns you've read about here in the reviews. I would have felt much more supportive had they not shut down the communications board, only to approve comments weeks later when some comments should have been addressed; as a community we cared about this property and wanted that dialogue to help, but no. How can we be a community without open communication. Communication and Fire Alarms: A couple of months back the loud fire alarms went off in the middle of the night, two nights in a row. I commented a concern. They rejected my post saying "The fire department was testing". Ok, that's not a very empathetic or honest response.. 3:30 in the morning, being that the fire department had to come out and clear it... THAT my friends, is the extent of the communication I have received. That sealed the deal for me to finally move on and not renew my lease. I have to consider my well-being. I've had to sever the relationship and I wish the property best of luck, and the residents peace. Be safe, and please be vigilant. ON a closing note, when I had received a lease renewal notice, I called two times and when I finally got a human the third time she was condescending, and it felt she was just processing a robot, not a real person; no thank you for being a long-time resident, nothing.. "We made our money, see ya!" I just want to make sure that anyone reading this takes a moment to consider your choice and do more research."
"I have been living at these apartments for over 10+ years and there have been some highs and lows HOWEVER I need to sing some really high praises to the current management and the property manager, Paula. The management team cannot change what happens in and around the area but at the end of the day, they are here for their tenants. Point blank. There will always be things, events or situations we don’t always agree on, such is life, but with full certainty, I know I am being treated with respect and on an even playing field. We don’t always get the answers we want but again, at the end of the day, that is fair housing. Being able to walk around the complex and maintenance or office staff say Hi to me is really refreshing, given the size of the property. They respond so quickly to any maintenance request, disturbance or even general questions and you can’t really ask for more. I have always been treated with respect and know I am going to get a straight answer. They treat everyone fairly, as they should. The complex has been cleaned up amazingly, both physically/aesthetically and tenant wise. This is apartment living. It is never perfect but there is a reason why I have been here for so long. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will find a smiling face and that, to me, means everything! Amenities are fabulous. Never an issue with parking. I highly recommend Celsius!"
"Let me start by saying that up until our most recent issue we have had a really great experience for almost the past year. Yes it’s noisy, yes people don’t clean the dog poop, and YES work orders are going unaddressed for extended periods of time. Unfortunately, leaving public reviews is the only way I feel our issue will be acknowledged as communication has been problem. We first put in a work order for our dishwasher on 07/31/23. A maintenance worker came out the next day and said that they would file a warranty claim for a replacement. After about a week with no updates we called and were told that due to the warranty process their was no time estimate. Most recently we were told on 08/23/23 that our dishwasher would be able to be repaired on 08/25/23 when the parts came in. Needless to say that did not happen and no one at all communicated what had happened. Everytime I visit the leasing office there is someone new and that also explains the horrible communication. It’s not our job as residents to consistently follow up on unresolved issues. I also find it difficult to believe that a warranty replacement takes a month and a half. No rent concession has been offered since we are unable to utilize a paid amenity in our home, nor a replacement from an unoccupied unit due to “warranty issues”. This is a very disappointing experience and we do not feel valued as residents. There are empty units that have been vacant and practices such as the current ones won’t help retention. At what point do we matter as residents?"
