"Moved in early Jan 2024. What an awesome experience. Leasing office: helpful, professional, responsive, and great at dealing with any circumstances. Apartment: newly renovated, quiet, clean, great neighbors, good amenities. Maintenance: amazing maintenance, very quick response. My unit was just renovated and had minor issues which were very quickly fixed no questions asked. They came out and showed me how to use appliances/amenities. put in request night before, they show up the next morning. always cordial and helpful."
"I was told that I could move into my apartment on 08/11 and then was told, after being approved for the apartment, that I had to move in on 08/01. So I paid for rent during days that I wasn’t able to move into the apartment and on a date that wasn’t agreed upon. Otherwise, everything about my move-in was seamless. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I love being able to workout in an amazing gym and everyone casually enjoying life"
"I decided not to renew for a third year. This complex has its pluses and minuses. Plus: Location - right off 485 and walkable to Stonecrest shopping center across the street. Maintenance - mostly prompt and knowledgeable Events - they try hard to create decent events as well as the occasional food truck. Minus: Noise - the apartment have very thin walls. I have heard regular conversations between my neighbors in the next unit. God help you if you don’t get a top floor apartment is all I will say. Management - especially since Knightvest took over, they have been no better than mediocre and at worst do nothing Renovations - if you are in the older units you can look forward to never ending construction when a neighbor moves out. Plus the Reno crews are downright disrespectful playing extremely loud music. Really sucks if you work at home. Amenity closures - last year the pool was closed 80% of the season because they decided in May to do renovations (remember the mediocre management? Hint) This complex is cheaper than others in South Charlotte but IMO you get what you pay for here which is why I’ve resigned myself to paying more elsewhere because I want better than Rock Creek."
"Only lived here 3 months but haven't had any complaints. Some positives: 1) Upon move in, I was surprised with the information that I qualified for a rent special that gave me $700 off next months rent. I applied and moved in within the same week, so that was a nice bonus. 2) I have been to 2 resident events and have had positive experiences so far. 3) I worked with Olga in the front office for my lease and one issue I had. Both were smooth and I felt like I was heard. 4) Monthly food trucks come out and there are "rewards" often for arriving at the start which get you some money off. 5) I had an issue with my dishwasher and put in a service request - had the maintenance team at my door within an hour which in my past experience in other complexes was unheard of. Only negative I have had was the car wash area - drain was backed up and the hose was in need of replacement. At the time of this review (8/24/23) I have not been back in a few weeks to see if it has been repaired to be fair. Would recommend."
"My honest review: I’d give 2-3 stars after staying for 1 month. Based on how it was sold to me my expectations were a little higher. Some insight, I rented this place sight unseen due to a job contract so there’s that. It also labeled itself as ‘Luxury Living’. I’ll give the bad first and the good last. The Bad: 2 Good people work here, Hillary with leasing and Rolando with maintenance, it pretty much stops there. Just about Every other experience I’ve had with staff has been less than poor, not only from a service standpoint but on a human being level. Lou the maintenance supervisor is a sorry excuse for leadership and comes up with any excuse to do nothing to help but instead just takes up space and drives around on his cart. I feel bad for the owner spending money to pay the staff when they just come up with excuses. Let’s go through Amenities: dog park, valet trash, car wash, pool and gym - The dog park is filled with dog feces. Not in the trash but literally in all of the play area as if someone lets their dog loose to go potty there. There is a dog wash which is cool but the park is too gross to get near. There’s also dog feces all over the lawns you have to be aware of as you walk even though there’s poop bag areas (can’t blame the facility this is more so the residents). People are gross for some reason it’s confusing to me. Maybe a $200 fine should be implemented? - Valet Trash is very spotty. They’re scheduled to come Mon-Thurs, 6-8pm but instead they come whenever they please. They usually pickup after 9pm and usually skip days to not pick up the trash at all. - The car wash, if you can call it that, is ridiculous. It’s a hand pump well with a duct taped hose attached. Someone would need to stand there and pump while the other person hoses down the car with zero pressure.. the water drain is so backed up there’s a pond forming of gross water with trash accumulated everywhere. There is a vacuum not sure if it works. Not really a car wash not sure how it’s labeled as such - Pool and Gym are pretty solid though. I’ve never been in the pool but families seem to enjoy it and have grill options to enjoy as well. The gym is pretty decent size to get a quick workout in. Limited machines and weight goes to 50lb but it gets the job done. If you need an office space/co-working area for the day - good luck! None here. Wifi in the leasing lobby? No shot. Apartment review: We rented a 1b1b and it’s beautifully renovated. Dishwasher lasted about 3 days before smoke started coming from it. The plus side was that we put in a work order and Rolando helped right away! The HVAC as stopped working in the apartment twice now (1 month into our stay) but again Rolando has been quick to come and fix it. When it’s working it works great and keeps the place very cool. The Hallways are pretty disgusting with spill stains, must be from valet trash dripping trash everywhere. Not sure if anyone sweeps or cleans the place? The good: the 1b 1b I rented was updated and spacious enough for my fiancé and I. The place has high ceilings and The kitchen was large, open and has Huge Granite countertops and mostly everything is new. The bathroom is nice as well with a large tub and subway tile and connecting walk in closet from bed to bath which is great. LVP flooring is durable and nice. Very clean space. They allow dogs which is convenient. The location is convenient as well close to the highway, stores and food. You can get packages delivered in a secure space rather than left at your door They also allow leases as short as 3 months which was great for us and allowed us the flexibility to stay longer or leave when we could. Final thoughts: there’s nothing “luxury” about this place but if you’re staying for 3-6mos it will likely be sufficient. I’ll update this as time goes by."
