"I’ve been here for 3 years. It was ok until new management/owners stepped in. The maintenance workers are rude. The lady who answers the phone act like she don’t like her job. Mice are a problem. They don’t come the day you ask for maintenance to come fix whatever that need to be fix. They paint everything just to say it’s brand new. The appliance are old. Cabinets are old. Toilets not flushing. Rent not matching the quality of the property. If you move, better be on YouTube or know someone that’s in HVAC, plumbing, or fix anything because they’ll have you waiting. Also if you move into these apartments, have a ring camera. Random ppl be sleeping in the hallways. Last thing, whatever financial difficulties you’re going thru or even if you just a person that pays your bills late, they would send a whole tree of notices on your door & in your emails. They don’t care so don’t fall for the part they say “if you need any assistance please contact us” RUN when you see that. UPDATE: so rent went up. I can’t even get new floors. They said I had to pay to get new floors & rent would go up. Now they starting to fine tenants for any reason now. From the bathroom knob to stain on the carpet it’s a charge. Even if it’s not your fault it’s a charge. Even if the carpet was installed before you moved in & over the next few years, they will charge you if it’s stained. Maintenance can’t do they jobs right. They sit & chill in the laundry room (over the weekends) & in the hallways not doing a lick of work. Half of them don’t even know how to fix these apartments BECAUSE THESE BUILDINGS ARE SOOOOO OLD they refuse to hire CERTIFIED workers to fix it. For a one bedroom that’s over $1k is RIDICULOUS. It’s not even management it’s the OWNERS thats doing all this. I understand some of the laws but if you trying to take all this money out for fines & late fees & court fee, you should be able to hire some workers."
"This is the worst apartment complex ever. The price is good for 1st time apartment renters, but you also get what you pay for. I've had mice problems the entire time I've been living here (almost 3 years) and even with management/owners switching it has still not been resolved. Exterminators have came more than once. I've put in over 10 maintance request. I've spent countless money on traps, decon...etc. I'm assuming it's impossible to solve at this point. I wouldn't recommend living here. Unless you like mice or have an cat. And even that shouldn't even be an option. Nobody should have to live like this."
"The rent is responsible however when I first moved in the refrigerator, stove and oven didn't work the windows in the master bed room was broken two the point something could fly in the house my first night here I could hear mice running through the walls. Plus new management took over my 2nd day living here. However I've been here a little over 6mo now there's a very bad mines problem to the point the made a small whole in the ceiling I've made a complaint nothing has been done. The neighbors or mail persons broke my mailbox im over it I thank God I have a place for me and my child but they could have fixed this apartment up way better."
"The area has gotten a lot better, rent is reasonable and I wouldn't mind living here if...... they hired a professional maintenance staff to take care of minor or major issues. They suck! Also, please yes get a cat because the mice are out of control. Also, be ready to sweep steps in the hall, clean the front glass door, clean all the spider webs on your outside window ceils, etc... if you like me and want your surrounding area to be clean and nice. You also have to wait for the other tenants in the building to finish running water before you get any pressure so think wisely or clock everyone's schedule. Yeah, it's a mess! Hopefully they will improve, rent does go up. You would think the extra fees are for maintenance NOT!"
"The rent is cheap but you get what you pay for. Maintenance is completely and utterly horrible. My upstairs neighborhood died in his bathtub ( stuff happens I get it) which created a leak and massive hole in my bathroom ceiling like it literally fell down it took over 2 weeks to fix it the first time. Then they moved a tenant in. Four months down the road the hole falls in again another two weeks before someone looks at it to replace it. I called one Wed morning because my kitchen ceiling was leaking I get a knock on my door the following Monday asking me if it was still leaking. Like are you freaking kidding me. Now all 15 layers of paint are peeling off my kitchen ceiling. Here's the kicker I called early Thursday morning reporting my heat was out. They said the guy was on site and would be over soon. I went to work get home to a message saying the guy went to apt D not B (I'm in B). Call back Friday they said I'll call him to come back, off to work I go. Come back home nobheat. It's now the new year 3 day holiday weekend. So yesterday Jan 2 the office is closed I called the emergency maintenance hotline to complain about my heat being out the assured me someone would be there first thing in the morning. Now it's 1039 Jan 3 I called the leasing office they said I thought that was fixed I'll call the guy right now. 5 days I have been without heat 5 days. On top of that they have a ridiculous mice problem they have some company come out on Tuesdays to "fix" the problem if you want but all he does is place cheap mouse traps. So if you decide to live here please get a cat and be a handyman. Other than that I don't actually mind living here."
