"Choosing The Standard has got to be, by far, one of the best decisions I could've made. Full stop. I remember the first time I walked into this beautiful establishment. I was actually making a delivery for a customer. When I walked in, I was completely blown away by the astounding architecture and beauty of this place. It was just like I stepped back in time to the golden age on the Industrial Revolution where great care was taken in construction. With it's heavy Renaissance influence, perfected with marble floors, soaring ceilings and brass accents, The Standard took great care to keep the historic imprint of this place intact. Being that I am quite nicely versed in American History, when I saw the "Standard Oil Building" etched on the entrance, the only words that came from my mouth were "Rockefeller! Perfect!" It was then I made the decision to begin my transition from the DMV to Baltimore to ONLY live at The Standard. On the day of my appointment, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff, which is onsite 24 hours a day. I was then ushered to Brent, the leasing professional where he met me with a bright smile and warm, affirming handshake. We sat and talked about what I was looking for but what was most impressive was his great knowledge about this historic building and the neighborhood. Brent made a concerted effort to make me feel right at home before I even signed the lease. He gave me a very detailed tour of the building and showed me different units - all of which were impressive. And the amenities at The Standard are unparalleled. From the state-of-the-art fitness center, to the sultry Rockefeller Room in which events can be hosted or just serve as a peaceful sitting hour, to the convenience store that is right onsite on the lower level, it was more than I had even imagined. I knew for sure that I had made the right decision to start my new life here. The leasing process was fast and efficient. And even though I had a small setback that was unexpected, Brent worked with me through it and the deal was done! Shortly thereafter, I met with Victor who took me through the signing process. He was very engaging and reassured me that they were happy that I was officially a resident of The Standard. He gave me great insight on their operations and encouraged me to always reach out to them with any concerns or needs that I may have. Folks, there is nothing like living in a place that your heart tells you is right. Since I've been here, everyone - from the staff, to the front desk reception, to the maintenance professionals and even fellow residents (Hi Keith!) - has been so nice and accommodating to me. When I needed a few things taken care of in the unit, Joaquin and Cedric handled it without delay. They truly cared about my comfort. And it is so nice to visit with all of the front desk reception team members when I come through the main entrance. They are the first faces you see when you walk in the door and the represent Southern Management and The Standard impeccably well! That said, I just want to thank all of them for a job well done. And I look foward to many years right here at The Standard!"
"I’ve been living here @ Standard Apts going on 2 years now and it is a fantastic experience. Never have I lived in such a place where everything is so convenient while feeling so completely safe. 24 hour front desk service. I’m in walking distance to the Baltimore Harbor, fine dining, Orioles baseball games. Baltimore Aquarium, Amtrak Rail Station etc. Brent the manager is the best! He made it a wonderful experience, touring several roomy apartments (with the most fantastic views of downtown Baltimore City) and making the application process quick and hassle free! This is the best place I’ve lived in Baltimore!"
"Outstanding Service. Management is superb. The building remains immaculate and clean at all times. All service requests are completed in less than 8 hour time frame. This is really a great place to live. Brent the Manager is superb , works with each and every resident to come to an agreement that everyone understands and one that the property demands!"
"I have been in Standard for almost three years. This is an awesome apartment complex. The apartment is clean, well-kept, and ventilated. What made me stay here even longer is the people in the management office like Brent who made the moving experience and transition smooth and less stressful. Brent was not only patient but very understanding. The people at the front desk are also amazing. I give a shot out to Ms. Mary, Dwayne, and the Maintenance manager Jun! This is a great place to live and even pet friendly! The area is nice and safe, close to the inner Harbor and lots of eatery areas"
"So far me and my husband jus moved here yesterday it's our first apartment together. And we went from renting a room to an apartment. I'm not from Baltimore but my husband is and in NYC I swear I can't afford nothing like this in NYC this is beautiful and I'm looking forward to trying the gym out so yeah I definitely am satisfied so far. Plus me and husband feels allot more close to each other like the struggle hopefully is finally over."
