"I wanted to drop off a care package for a young mother staying here who is struggling to get back on her feet. The front desk said they couldn't be liable to hold the package. That is dumb, but whatever. I went to drive it up the hill to building 3, but they hadn't bothered to plow their property, so I couldn't safely drive up to deliver the package because it was icy after snow the prior 2 days. I get it's a budget motel, but they could still treat people with respect and consideration. If you have another option, please exercise it."
"Hidden away, slightly sketchy, minimalistic motel. The lobby was clean and staff cold but professional. The room reeked of stale smoke with yellow walls, stained blankets with burn holes."
"The worst place to stay management is nasty. They do not know how to talk to people rooms are not good housekeeping or nasty just plain out nasty do not waste your money staying there even though it is a lower price do not stay down. Worst place to stay in Baltimore, Maryland city."
"I've stayed in this place numerous of times and honestly the rooms are hit or miss. But what can you expect for the price booking through Priceline. My complaint is not about the motel, it's about the customer service. Especially dealing with Alek if that's his name. It's the older gentleman that always wears the hat with glasses. I had an issue with my room after checking in (Room 128) the television was not working. I called the front desk to ask them why the TV was not working. He gave the excuse that he called Comcast and they're working on the issue. I called back an hour later asking for an update. Same excuse! So I went up to the office to talk to him in person. He says he's called them and they're supposed to be working on it. So all night I was without a television. The issue really started when I called Priceline to let them know about the issue I was having. Alek lied to Priceline and told them he told me the television was not working when I checked in, which was a lie. Otherwise I would not have been calling and going to the office asking about the television. So because of his dishonest Priceline would not refund me initially. So I called him on the phone and asked him why he lied. He got mad and hung up the phone. So I called back again and ask the same question and he started back peddling and hung up again. So I drove out of my way to talk to him face to face. Which he eventually admitted he lied. I had Priceline call him while I was there to get my refund. A week later I returned to the same place and would you believe I got room 128 again. Fordt thing I did was check the television and it was still not working. So I went straight to the office and had them switch my room. And the television worked. So it's not a cable issue it's a room issue. Which I'm sure they'll neglect as long as possible. Today I returned once again after making my reservation through Priceline and when I get there Alek says they have no rooms available that have working televisions. I see people coming in and out and I asked if he told them the televisions are not working and they said no. So I called and ask if they had any rooms available and he said they did. I asked if they had televisions and he said they did. Never saying there was any issues with the televisions. So I think at this point I'm being discrimination again because of my complaint to Priceline. I even drove around the parking lot to the room I had stayed in the previous night and it was vacant with the curtains open. They'll take your money with no problem. But God forbid you hold then accountable for any issues related to your stay. I will say on the positive note the rooms are not all horrible. Clean for the most part, a bit outdated. I've never had an issue with noise or other activities. Just poor customer service from Alek. Everyone else has been helpful. Before checking in make sure you ask if the television is working and of you get room 128 just ask for another room immediately."
"No one has any right to complain about this place. It's an old motel which I payed around 50 a night for. I think it's ridiculous to expect a 5 star hotel for that price. Yes the rooms are pretty old, but most are clean. I stayed here about a year ago and was perfect. Recently I stayed again and first went to my room which had cigarette burns on the comforter and floor. I was going to just rough it out because it was already late but after a few minutes I just couldn't breathe from the heavy cigarette smell. I went to the front desk and they immediately gave me a new room. Staff are very nice and friendly. If you're on a budget you will get the most out of your money at this place. A bed to sleep on, fridge freezer, and microwave. A shower, a TV, wifi, and a couple chairs and table. Every time I've been there it's been very quiet. It ain't the double tree but you're paying a quarter of what that would cost you. And even nice hotels are filled with bad reviews. People gotta grow up and stop feeling so entitled."
