"I had a wonderful experience during the apartment complex tour led by Gabby. She was incredibly nice and provided excellent tours, showcasing all the features and amenities the complex has to offer. Gabby was not only knowledgeable about the property but also went above and beyond to answer all our questions, making the application process much smoother. Her friendly and helpful demeanor made the tour a positive and informative experience. Overall, I highly appreciate Gabby's assistance and professionalism throughout the visit."

"The apartments are fine, however, there are several water shuts off. Some units have problems with cockroaches. For the initial fees, you need have to follow directions carefully, if you dont have much experience with contracts the admin office doesn't give you much guidance or they do it in a rude manner. You would think this apartment would be cheaper that others , but with services and fees, you end up paying more money for less."

"Currently 10 PM and no security in sight. Desk completely empty; doesn't even look like someone stepped away for a moment. Oftentimes in the morning, the security is sleeping at the desk as well. I only leased here because of the JHU Bluejays program, in which the Marylander PROMISED security services after hours."

"The Marylander was my first apartment when I moved to the USA. It was a tough experience moving to the USA as an immigrant during the pandemic. The first thing my husband and I did when we arrived was apartment hunting (we applied online beforehand, but there was an issue and miscommunication with XXX apartment, so we dismissed it). We were so desperate and wanted to stay near the JHU Homewood Campus. It was November, and most of the apartments near Homewood were fully booked because the new semester had begun. Gabby was so helpful and understanding. She discussed our rental budget, etc., and clarified everything we needed to know. We only had cash, but Marylanders do not accept cash. Gabby provided us with the solutions and helped us book the apartment. There was just one apartment left within our budget, and maintenance staff needed a few days to check/repair the unit before we could move in. Gabby talked to them and negotiated for us. She was professional and passionate about her work. Blessed her kind heart! Thank God! We could move in two days earlier. It was such a relief since we had spent 3 nights at the hotel with jet lag. We've been part of the Marylanders community for almost two years now. It is nice and welcoming and it feels like home. It is near to the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus, shops, and close to Giant and Punjab (where I bought halal meat and spices). I feel safe as the University Patrol keeps on patrolling the neighbourhood. The package room is big and well organized. The gym and study room are well equipped. Btw, you can use the printer for free! They also perform pest control check-ups and treatments if necessary. The office and maintenance staff are responsive and they organize fun activities. It was an amazing experience living here. I would recommend it!"
