"First let me start with saying the staff at this location with the exception of the manager Patrick Miner were fantastic. moving on to the room. We basically had to take cold showers throughout our stay do to no hot water. The solution giving to us was to let the water run in the sink to force the hot water up to take a hot shower. However the drain in the sink was broken so you had to use the ice bucket to scoop the water out of the sink to dump into the toilet so the sink wouldn't over flow. When I spoke to the manger I was told I was receiving a special rate on the room so he's not going to take the time to explain to me how the system works on weather we should be credited anything. Special rate or not my room should have hot water or at least move us to a room which does. And Marriott please train you mangers on better customer service because Patrick Miner was extremely rude! Will never stay here again, and not sure I still want to be a Marriott rewards member."
"Enjoyed my stay. The room was clean to include the bathroom. Nice amenities, and in walking distance of the Monarch restaurant, which is a must-see. Ask for Cenyana she is a beautiful person inside and out."
"I booked two rooms on points through the Bonvoy app for the Fells Festival. I had an email confirmation for two rooms and point were deducted from my account, months before the festival. The day before they call me to tell me there is an issue with one of the rooms, AND I HAVE TO CALL MARRIOTT to resolve their issue. Putting dropping a hotel room from a paid reservation on the busiest hotel day in Fells I’ve ever seen and not offering to do anything to find a replacement. That alone warrants a one star review even if one room was provided without issue. Suggesting the responsibility for internal procedural issues a company is experiencing rest with consumers is abhorrent. This goes against everything I believed about Marriott and its previously exceptional customer service. Making consumer’s responsible for taking action to solve an internal company issue was an intentional decision by the Marriott organization. They should be ashamed, gaslighting consumers into believing the issue is anything other than an internal Marriott issue to resolve is the antithesis of customer service. I wish every time a company externalized an internal issue on a consumer the State AG dropped the hammer on them, then maybe we start seeing less instead of more of this garbage. In summary, one star, if you have a paid booking and confirmation email, as a result of booking directly, that is still not enough that you can count on them having a the booking available."
"I want to start by saying that I stay in Marriot a majority of the year (on my way to ambassador this year) so this review is probably 1 of 2 I’ve left all year for excellent service. Ill start by saying that Patrick at the front desk is a freaking GEM. I NEED coffee in the morning and the line at Starbucks was nuts. He hears me tell my co-worker that we can’t wait in that line (we needed to get to the hospital) and instead of blatantly ignoring my cries for help, Patrick offers to get me a cup of coffee. I couldn’t be more appreciative of his attentiveness to such a small request. Take notes, Patrick has customer service down to a T! Thank you for making this stay amazing, I will return when in Baltimore."
"Basically it’s a very old facility and color scheme their furniture inside and out and bathroom fixtures will bring you in 1980’s . It’s not worth to stay here even $100 a night and they are charging whooping $289 with this kind of facility. Breakfast included or not included is a another joke with one coffee with no refill and one juice and a yogurt. Please stay away unless you don’t care . Only good thing about this hotel is it’s location. You are in middle of everything in Baltimore."
