"I was happy about the location. Therefore, I went to view this room 1st before paying. I couldn't believe how outdated and old everything looked. Even if they went to thrift stores for linen and each room had different linen... and bought discount paint, fake flowers, etc something to make it brighter.... they could make wonderful changes.. this place is in an upscale nice area near a major popular hospital. I just couldn't believe it looked and smelled so bad. The inside of the refrigerator was broken, very small. The windows were dirty, such depressing darkness in color re: color of bedspread, carpet, dirty air-conditioning heating unit."
"The good-cable,clean,safe, decent noise blockage from Woodward at least upstairs. The bad- interrogation by the owners, too cheap to keep climate controlled so it takes an hour for the room to cool down, also no guests"
"Like all the other reviews,the Indian owners are rude,and unprofessional. They were updating rooms one day and just unlocked my door and walked in without knocking,when I expressed my concern they kicked me out. They wonder why the rooms are always empty and the hotel down the street is booked. Clean rooms, but not worth the hassle of owners walking in and spying on you all the time. I felt very uncomfortable."
"I had a short stay. It was cool til we were informed after we had paid 3 people could not be in the room. Of course there are no refunds, but he let us slide this time. I really like that the towels and washcloths. The room seemed clean. There was no smoking"
"Needs major updating, but it's VERY clean and reasonably priced. A little noisy from the traffic on Woodward, but meh, it is Woodward. Bed is a tad bit hard and a couple more pillows would be nice, but all in all it's decent. The room has a little refrigerator and microwave too. As for the owner, he was nice, a little dry, but not rude in any way. Some of the previous reviewers commented about being told not to smoke numerous times, we didn't experience that, he only told us once. I would recommend if you're ok with a no frills, clean and affordable place to stay."
