“The ramen is goood. Love the tonkotsu ramen. The pork is nicely charred and soft.. the karaage chicken is so good and good selection of sushi rolls. Definitely will come back. Limited seats for sure but worth to wait or if not just get a take out!”

“Legitimately the best restaurant around Newcastle . Doesn’t matter what I get I end up liking it. My family and I have been eating here for a few months now. They make the Nepalese Dumplings (Mo:Mo) and Indian food and probably the best foods I’ve had in Newcastle. I have tried many other restaurants around Newcastle for Nepalese and Indian food but this is the best destination I recommend to all. Thank you Avatara Team.”

“We had lunch here on Saturday and I’m already dreaming about when we’ll be back. So many amazing options for vegans. Actually I would say the best felafel I have had. The food was properly cooked, like you can taste it is made to be delicious. We had the mixed entree, vibe leaves, the eggplant(such comfort!), the rice and chickpeas. Next time I have to remember to take some pictures of the dishes before eating them!”

“Amazing Thai Restaurant. Extremely impressed with the service. All staff were extremely friendly and really focused on all the customers needs. They moved with haste, made great dishes, affordable, and the restaurant had a great peaceful ambience/atmosphere. I had a coconut juice, Panang Curry, Coconut Rice with Banana Fritters. Highly recommend. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would!”

“Very nice Sunday morning breakfast, the shakshuka was tasty but I would probably prefer that the tomatoes, capsicum etc were not puréed, other than that it was excellent, perfectly cooked eggs and the coffee was great too. We got there just in time at 8.20 and it was filling up quickly.”

“We’re very happy that the restaurant reopened just in time for my daughter’s birthday. Reservation was easy. Food were AMAZING! We always order the pork sinigang, pork sisig and crispy pata- they never disappoint! We also got the new additions to their menu which were the Filipino-style spaghetti and the pinakbet. Grabe, taste like home! Some of our guest are first-time diners there and they were impressed! The staff were also very welcoming, polite and professional. A must-try and a gem right in the heart of Newcastle!!!”

“The experience was great! You eat with you hands and they bring this cool basin to wash your hands in. I had the braised chicken and lamb and both were fantastic. I would recommend the the sambuzza as the starters as well. Both the panna cotta and date pudding were excellent. Overall food was fantastic, service was qui k and staff were friendly. We were also able to get a table without a booking.”

“Tryed Milky Lane for the first time last Saturday evening, before a night at the civic theatre. And what a wonderful experience it was. It would have to be one of the best vibes in Newcastle. Wish we had places like this 20 years ago! Food was outstanding, staff were helpful in every way from the knowledge of the menu to what cocktail would be suitable. If your not into talking to the staff you can order at the table from the QR code. I give my experience 5 out of 5 and would recommend.”
