“My son is a member here and we had a few meals here during our 4 week stay in Manly. I particularly enjoyed the roast pork Sunday dinner. The quality and quantity of the meals were excellent. The selection of beers on tap was also very good. The staff were always very cheerful, polite, and helpful”

“Hidden treasure! Need to recommend to my friends! I loved the Eastern (Central) European Authentic food. Enjoyed deep fried cheese as well as chicken schnitzel. Portions were above average and the Czech/ Slovak beer is a must! :-) Thank you, will be back again with the whole family.”

“Awesome spot for a gig! Great sound and atmosphere often has varying seating sections which is great if you go with a friend with access requirements. Also very cosy in winter which is so rare for Australian venues who keep doors open on cold nights!”

“Awesome place. Best beach in Sydney for family as there are medium to small waves. The right side of the beach has very small breaking waves and is a great place to start surfing or swimming with small kids. There is a rock pool and a restaurant as well as great facilities. Highly recommend it. Also seems safe so you never worry about your stuff getting nicked.”

“This is a fantastic club for families. There is a great area outside that is all under shelter with plenty of tables. We had a party there for my granddaughter's 1st birthday the staff cleaned up afterwards and there is also a play area right beside this so parents can watch the children. Also the adults can then go and have a feed at the bar or at Laws Chinese restaurant there's a Courtesy bus and plenty of Raffles. Accessible for wheelchairs generally all round great place to go. Are used to live down in this area and I have frequented this particular RSL club for about 20 years and it's always been pretty high standards. Right beside the water also.”

“Went there on a Wed ride for a $12 lunch special. Very busy on the day Bowls matches and pension discounts plenty of parking spaces on a quiet street and car park. Over looking lake Illawarra windang.”

Massive sizes, freshly cooked, great area at the bar for a drink of selected varieties, good traditional German interior design with a very colourful decorations, I give this place a 5 out of 5, if I could give it another star (6*) I would, so if you're looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere around the Wollongong/Dapto/kembla grange area then I highly recommend comming and making a booking, it seats up to 12 per table or for private functions of 50+”

“What a little gem! This is an RSL club like no other. Great spot for an afternoon meal or a drink, with some live music for entertainment. There's even a little waterfall at the back of the garden. We had a bowl of sweet potato chips, huge portion and nice and crispy.”

“Had dinner on a Saturday night and loved the food, drinks and atmosphere. The staff were very good and all our food was cooked to perfection. After dinner, an excellent band called "The Cross Eyed Dogs" got all of us out on the dance floor with some favorite rock songs! Highly recommended. We will be back!!!”
