The fact that there is parking for a fair few cars is a massive bonus. There are bathrooms here and are a far cry better than than ones by the pavilion on Maroubra Beach (avoid those ones like the plague BTW!).”

“easy walk to the pools. if swimming, walk slowly across the left side (it’s a bit of a climb) and use the rocks at the back of the pool to lower yourself in safely. really handy if you’re wearing some water/aqua shoes. middle of the pool is deep, there’s a few rocks and fallen branch that you can use to take a break from treading water. beautiful quiet swim.”

“God I love this pool. I drive all over the Illawarra and beyond having beautiful swims at beaches, ocean pools and public pools, but always end up relaxing back here at Oak Flats. Chilled friendly staff, clean water, lots of grass and shade. What more do we need?!”

“5 min walk from the carpark. There are stairs. Lovely area though can get a little crowded. Bathing areas further walk around from Blue Pool, but might be a bit treacherous for the little ones.”

“This is one very nice hike at the coast of the Pacific Ocean in Royal National Park. Before you start to hike, you should consider: 1st: Look for the tide at Royal National Park home page. The hike is possible at low tide only. When the water becomes too high, things are getting dangerous, the force of the water is serious. 2nd: Have suitable shoes. Hiking boots or trekking boots (minimum!) are recommendet. I have seen people in flip flops and sandals... and bleeding feet. Especially at the coast it's not just walking in the sand, there is a quite long rocky part of the hike.”

As life gets busy and we see ourselves being completely time poor it was a big selling point to have them be able to include everything from the pool, concreting and tiling as well as recommend options for fencing. Their quote was broken down and very easy to understand compared to competitors. Would highly recommend. James, our site manager was very professional and came up with ideas outside the box to better suit our space.”

“If u want to swim laps undisturbed this is the place. Not usually busy , clean pool . I have used it. Cheap admission and free for seniors every Tuesday.”

“The perfect place for swimming and just letting your soul dangle. The water is clear and you feel like you're swimming right in the jungle. Just lovely. There wasn't too much going on on Saturday either. Parking is available at the Blue Pool Walking Track. The street is great. We were there for a short time afterwards jelly bean pool It is also beautiful, but there are many more people with children. An advantage for some, not for others.”

“Lovely place, some deep swimming areas, and some shallow places if you just want to cool your feet. A warning tho, it can be slippers, and there are holes hidden in the shallows that can be quite deep”
