“Always very happy with Event, Campbelltown Cinema. Obliging, polite staff. Love the "Seniors morning teas". For those that don't know the session's are $10 a ticket, and you get a little snack box, T or C. Head Office just need to answer emails more promptly. The last email I did get an answer well before date of film. Thanks for that.”

“Just rock up and buy tickets, buying online they charge a booking fee which is absolutely not necessary. Always plenty of seats and quiet sessions. Wish they did more special sessions for kids”

“Events Cinema Macquarie is an outstanding movie center! The staff is friendly and helpful, the cinemas are clean and comfortable, and the sound and picture quality is top-notch. I highly recommend this cinema for an enjoyable movie experience.”

“Loved it. We went to see the little Mermaid, and what a great show. We went into gold class, and the seating in there is absolutely worth spending the extra few bucks for comfort and convenience. Great layout and not so many people, and you're not cramped into each other. The service for drinks and food is something you need to do once in a while. Bit pricey, but it's worth it. Having the food getting delivered to you whilst you head into the cinema and get comfortable and relaxed is on another level. I had some of the best food from here and was blown away . I am a critic when it comes to food and I didn't expect the food to taste so nice and hot. The sliders and wings were OMG absolutely delicious. So people get to this cinema or any Event cinema and go gold class and enjoy the experience and food. Just once and let me know what you reckon. 10/10 for this experience. Thankyou Event Cinemas Kotara. And to the lovely young lady who accommodated us and was our personal assistant for the night. You did a wonderful job.”

“Lovely cinema and so easy to access in Nelson Bay. Friendly staff but the best part is that they don’t always play Hollywood productions: I saw quite a few independent movies here such as Belfast, Good luck to you Leo Grande, Living… check the program!”

“First time for a bit, you had to do your own pop corn and make your own drinks. I think this made the time to get served quicker. One issue is to know what food you pre booked, the piece of paper doesn't say that you get when you get your tickets. Front row of reclining seats looked a bit close, but the second row looked better. The normal seats were all new and comfortable.”

“Shows the best of movies & with me being disable, I can say having to remain seated that the seats are comfortable & the cinemas with the recliner chairs they are very, very comfortable especially when having to remain seated for an extened period of time. Being able to purchase the tickets before hand & not having to line-up to do so is also so very convenient too. It all makes for an overall enjoyable experience.”

“Very nice, I watched Oppenheimer in imax in the front row but had an excellent time. Speakers number 1, screen #1. Food very overpriced, I would recommend hiding your favourite beef snack pack in one of your Jean pockets when going in.”

“I recently watched the movie "Jailer" at Event Cinemas, and overall, it was a good experience. The sound quality was impressive, which added to the enjoyment of the film. However, I visited for the 9pm show and noticed that the cleanliness of the cinema could have been better. Despite this, the experience was still worth it.”

“What a hidden gem! Saw Guardians of the Galaxy in the Library/ Boutique setting A separate adults only lounge and bar with airport business class lounge vibes. Fully serviced bar and food can be ordered inside the cinema. In fact it might be a better dining option than eating outside.”

“4dx was a totally different experience and was quite good. I did find that the movement was slightly unnecessary for certain parts of the movie that we watched, but it would suit quite an action-packed movie. The wind, rain, and snow, as well as some flying movements, worked well! Kids enjoyed it”

“I recently visited Event Cinemas Liverpool to see a movie with friends, and it was a great experience. The cinema is conveniently located in the shopping center and has a wide range of movies to choose from. The seats were comfortable and the sound and picture quality were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had no problems with the ticketing process.”

“Ambience of an old and classic movie theater, good candy bar, amazing show room, cheaper prices and a decent screen. The seats were a little uncomfortable from time to time but it was no big deal. Recommended over comercial chains any day.”

“First time going here last night. The bar has a cool and intimate atmosphere, I highly recommend grabbing a drink and a can of popcorn while waiting for your session. The cinema is very well-maintained and takes you back in time, it was a very interesting experience.”

“Beautiful old world theater that looks exactly as it did 50 years ago, except there are now 5 cunemas, whereas then there was only 1. They have kept the original 1920's style while providing modern services. Nice balcony to have a drink while the sun sets and you wait for the movie to start”

“This place is a gem. It is an old fashioned cinema but it is always clean and well maintained. So many awesome childhood memories seeing movies here and now I take my 4 kids here on the regular. Best value cinema in NSW. I can purchase tickets for my whole family here for what it would cost for 2 tickets at Event cinemas. Popcorn and drinks and snacks are a third of the price of the big chain cinemas. I'm 37 years old and have been coming here since I was a child and I have never had a bad experience.”
