“I visited this joint a few weeks ago desperate to find a new "fish and chip shop" burger. I was blown away at the beautiful and welcoming service. The works burger I bought had fresh salad and a good amount of it. The protiens were all cooked appropriately (crispy yet tasty bacon, firm egg but not dry, juicy meat patty). Went back again tonight and ordered the same thing and was just as satisfied. Worth a drive if your unsatisfied with your local joint or need to be reminded how good a classic can be.”

“What a gem this spot is!! We have been eating delicious pizza here for a while and it made sense to chose this spot for an event. Amber and the team were such legends, from organising amazing grazing boards, the best pizza and garlic bread in town and creating lots of cute areas to socialise and celebrate. “This is the kind of place that makes you redefine what you consider excellent food. Have to go here more often. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is so good and the staff are so nice. My partner and I arrived late, well after normal lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and the kitchen gave us a special large serving of the rice congee. It was mouth watering and made me want to try learning to make it at home (not that I could come close to theirs) The salmon blini was delicious too. Next time I need to choose a place to bring someone I know exactly where we're going!”

“What a HOT SPOT of divine taste and "untrendyness" . Melting "ambrosian" cakes of such European quality. The coffee is good too. This is a tiny, incy wincy unassuming cafe that offers a fantastic taste experience, yet with compact selection of goodies....I only wish it opened till 6pm and the weekends. It closes at 2pm Mon. to Fri.”

“Hands down the best fried chicken in town. Built into the Newy Hotel so tap beers as a bonus. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. Treat yourself to a fried chicken Sando, try a Sunday Sando, it's the GOAT on NFC burgers. Update - its 2 years later, I've been here over 80 times and spent 2k on food here alone. It's that good. I've been to NFC almost once a week since I found it.”

“I had to pop into Stocko so had Googled best coffee in the area and read all the reviews for this cafe. True to their word, the owner (?) Ty and his team are incredible. I sat for 30mins watching their interactions with all customers, welcoming them warmly and knowing many by name and their usual orders. They are truly fantastic! Plus my coffee and biccie were delicious, so I’ll be back again soon just to soak up their genuine friendliness and outstanding customer service, do yourself a favour and make the trip out there to support this small business!”

“On our arrival they did our special request and the service was impeccable. They explained their cocktail list in detail with humour and charm. The food was to die for, their combination of flavours and textures were mouth watering. We shared the banquet for 2, plenty of food and each course brought out promptly. The waitress gave us a container for leftovers and gave us her recommendations for other menu items should we return. As members of the rainbow community they were super welcoming. Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back with some friends.”
