Tried on a range of shoes, in depth conversation about my needs, videoed running to check gait and how different shoes corrected some of my issues. “When I'm bored or a bit down, I'll waddle over to the Star shop with £10 and come back with enough junk to put an elephant in hyperglycemic shock. Cool american and international foods. The Naan breads are lovely too. Add some garlic butter and some nigella seeds to that sh*t; in the oven for 5 mins and bam, you're in the coriander lounge. Just dont buy the Barr bubblegum-ade, that's all for me. Update as of 2022 - Even better! The £1 'chicken' bites are still £1 and my nephew got a free lollypop! Great shop.”

I had some really misplaced and wonky lobe piercings, the lady who pierced me (sorry I didn’t get your name!) was so helpful and talked me through all the options to balance my lobe piercings out! Got my helix done while I was there, the process wasn’t as painful as I thought and the studio was immaculate and clean. The service by all the staff was perfect, couldn’t recommend enough, will be back for more, thank you!!”

I’ve had excellent service from Brandon at the workshop good prices too, My only wish is there be a wider range of finance options as Klarna aren’t best suited to everyone, Maybe look into clearpay or laybuy which are similar but work better for other people :). The current issue is just stock really for accessories etc it will improve overtime for sure. Lewis is your man for sales knows about e-scooters and what models to recommend.”

“I have used this store mainly for footwear (I had a marvellous pair of slippers from here). For the first time ever I had to return a pair of walking boots as the leather had started to crack. The manager told me he thought it was as the fit was wrong, I thought it looked like faulty leather as one of the cracks was over the hardened toe part and the leather was bubbling at the side. I'd bought Hi-tech boots for years and never had a problem but I had not really taken in to account that my feet had changed,. He informed me that if I had the same pair he would not be able to exchange those. I took his advice and tried some different makes. I came away with a pair of wide fit lowa. I've worn them in the house for a couple of days and they are very comfy. Great service.”
