"The selection of goods avaliable in the store are not great considering its size. The running section is relatively small and only offers a small selection of running t-shirts and jackets at quite a high end price. Many items can be found for a better price online. Although I can't fault this customer service in this store. The staff are helpful with assisting you and are happy to search for a product for you which is nice."

"Must be bucking the trend as everyone is saying what wonderful service. Not something I experienced today. Wanted to buy new walking boots, only one asst in the area busy chatting to couple who looked like they had selected their item. Whilst browsing and waiting for asst to become free found it hard to look at ladies boots as he wasstanding in the way and he did not move. He could have acknowledged me and said he would be with me shortly but instead he carried on chatting. Only when I was heading for the stairs did he shout over to ask if I needed help. By which time I decided would go somewhere else. Shame as past purchase in Norwich branch service was great."

"What a hidden gem! I was on the hunt for walking boots...always a bit of a dread as I dislike the breaking them in part. My friend told me to go to Cotswolds as she had discovered their amazing knack for getting you with the right boot! I never knew this place existed, so I was delighted ( as I am relatively local). The store itself is huge and sells everything from camping gear to outdoor clothing for men, women, and kids. The staff are super helpful...especially the guy in the upstairs dept. He was really knowledgeable and spent a lot of time asking questions about the type of walking I do, measuring my feet to different boots - to ensure the fit was suitable so as to avoid the dreaded blisters! I didn't feel rushed to make a decision, and I came away with some lovely boots at a decent price. I am looking forward to getting out there in them. He recommended that I join their explorer club too, which offers all sorts of perks, including a three month return window. I am diligently wearing them around the house now to 'get the feel', but so far all good! I will definitely go back to Cotswolds for future needs, and I thoroughly recommend them for customer service and knowledge."

"All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in this store (a store I didn’t know existed until this week!…it’s well hidden), but Simon stood out as a content expert on everything from running shoes to smartwatches. I buy a lot of stuff online, but if there were more shops and service like this, I’d stop. This is a well stocked store with courteous and knowledgeable staff that needs to stay open - go shop there for all our sakes."

"I have used this store mainly for footwear (I had a marvellous pair of slippers from here). For the first time ever I had to return a pair of walking boots as the leather had started to crack. The manager told me he thought it was as the fit was wrong, I thought it looked like faulty leather as one of the cracks was over the hardened toe part and the leather was bubbling at the side. I'd bought Hi-tech boots for years and never had a problem but I had not really taken in to account that my feet had changed,. He informed me that if I had the same pair he would not be able to exchange those. I took his advice and tried some different makes. I came away with a pair of wide fit lowa. I've worn them in the house for a couple of days and they are very comfy. Great service."
